I get it. If you do nothing else with a vet from here, I still recommend the B-12 shots. You buy the supplies. It cost me $76. The vet tech gave me a free demo on how to give the shots. There’s also a YouTube video on it. I give Krista a shot Monday morning, at home, no vet visit, and she’s done before she can even complain. I give her a treat afterwards and she’s like, “whats this for?” So much easier than giving her a pill! I do believe the B-12 was the missing piece that took Krista so long to turn the corner and finally get better. And it won’t cause Bella any harm to do the shots if she doesn’t need them. She’ll just pee out the B-12 she doesn’t need. But I’m going to assume that she does need the B-12 if she had chronic diarrhea bad enough to lose weight.
I am going threw Bella's GI panel paper work. How would the B-12 be listed if they checked it. Hopefully they did check it.

It's possible it wasn't ordered as it's not a standard blood test.

Where can I buy the B-12? I have B-12 dots for my self. Is this something you get from the vet or can I buy it from any store? I was going to try the pill, if it isn't to big. I have to give her a syringe of stuff anyhow, I will just add that in, if I can.

I still think you need to go see a different vet and figure out the root of the problem. I know tests are expensive but if you try to treat for A and it turns out to be B you could be doing more harm than good.

Not sure if you got this, I think I posted it in the wrong place. Where can I buy the B-12? I have B-12 dots for my self. Is this something you get from the vet or can I buy it from any store? B-12 has to be purchased from the vet. It will be administered as weekly subcutaneous shots for four to six weeks. You'll bring Bella in once to get a demo on how to give the shot. It's under the skin, not into a vein--a lot easier than giving a pill in my opinion. Then you'll be sent home with the bottle, the needles, and the disposal. Don't give Bella your B-12 because you don't know if the preservatives are cat-safe. And oral B-12 is not likely to be absorbed at this point with her intestinal inflammation and already compromised nutrient absorption.
