What Are Your Cats Doing Right Now?

Jem is using the top of my computer chair as a perch/scratching surface

Mingo is in my arms, licking my left one and purring up a storm. Lily is sitting on my footstool wondering if she can steal my chair now.

Kaia is bathing on my lap....

Headbutting me to let me know it's playtime.

Bodhi is napping on a stair step with one ear scanning for noises that come from the bird feeder.

Chasing each other around the house....

Reese is having a nap after spending the last few hours racing round the house like a lunatic, and Sirvester is going from person to person trying to lead them to his empty dish. Sorry buddy, the diet stays and you've had your dinner! Nice try though.

The cats are conked out on my legs and feet while I read one more chapter before turning off the light.

Snoring. Miss Kitti jumped on my chest and meowed anxiously about 30 minutes ago (4:00 AM). Obviously something was wrong. So after getting up and checking everything, and finding nothing, no house fires, no intruders, no zombie apocalypse happening in the kitchen, I sat down on the couch and she hopped up with me (all 17+ pounds of her -- THUD) and curled up against my leg. And now she is SNORING. They want your total attention even when they're sleeping, it would seem.

As the old fellow said, dat's cats. So much for more sleep tonight.

C'est Moi has been being a pest all evening! She keeps going into the kitchen and opening the cabinet doors and letting them bang shut because she wants me to give her more treats. They've already had supper and treats, and there are two bowls of dry cat chow out for them.

Charlie is being an attention hog, and Selene's got the zoomies.

They are doing what I wish I was doing- sleeping

I have a big black furry fellow who's had his breakfast, a drink from the sink and a brief exploration of his outside back yard in the past 15 minutes or so, and is now resting from his labors LOL and watching birds, squirrels and the neighbor dog as he's loafing in front of the sliding glass door

Both of them (Nokia and Shade) are window stalking the birds that are eating from the feeders near the windows.

Lily is asleep in another room, and Mingo is just behind me, clawing at my chair and whining to tell me it's lunch time. If I ask him if he's ready for lunch, the whining will turn into full blown meows.

Okay, I am feeling a little bit guilty. Doing Thanksgiving cleaning all of Willow’s toys were picked up, so now she is playing hard with a used tissue and the footstool.

Correction: it wasn’t a used tissue it was a NEW pocket pack of tissues which she tore open and extracted a couple. It is extremely rare for her to do anything naughty so I am giving her a pass.

Lily is wailing in the kitchen because I left her. I love her to death, but this is getting old.

My two kittens Thomas and Duchess are sleeping on my favorite blanket (now their favorite blanket) and Duchess is cuddling him as he is nursing conjunctivitis in both eyes for his Upper Respiratory Infection
