Poo, Poo And More Poo

Hi everyone . I’m just curious to know how you dispose of your cat poo, before your municipality takes your garbage away? Thanks.

I put mine in in biodegradable dog poop bags. Keeps the smell in and will break down quicker so better for the environment, I hope.

I don't know about where you live, but here we have to use animal proof trashcans because of the wildlife. These also work as a good seal, and keep out bad odors. We end up just throwing it in the bin, and the garbage gets taken away every week.

Scoop the poo into a plastic bag and tie up tight without air in it so that it's not easily burst and place it in the covered waste bin. The bin can be in the kitchen or next to the litter box.

To be safer, scoop poo onto newspaper, wrap and place in plastic bag, tie up tight and into waste bin till garbage man comes.

Once tie tight, there should be no smell.

I live in an apartment and use a litter genie right now. I toss the litter genie bags down the trash shoot.

I recently purchased a litter robot and purchased some odor seal kitchen bags to line the waste pan.

I second the biodegradable dog poop bags. Never had a whiff of a scent, although it could be the litter - Fresh Step Unscented.

Litter genie is fantastic. Used doggie bags when I first got my kitten, but there was a lot of smell coming from those. There is no smell at all using the litter genie, don’t really know why it’s so good.
