I KNOW he was glad to see you, and I'm sure that the teddy bear is a huge comfort to him.

He is eating a little bit of boiled chicken when I encourage him but not much of the gastro food that the vets said he should eat he has been lying under the bed a lot he does come to us in the living room every now and again he lies down and starts rolling a bit i think he is just showing us his plaster on his belly

I'm sorry for you and Sandy. I hope Sandy starts eating for you. At the moment he must be protesting food because his belly hurts. I have food sensitivities too and some days I feel too sick to eat. Sorry he doesn't like the food your vet wanted him on. Did you think about putting fish oil in it? Are there any other foods for sensitive tummies?

Poor baby. No wonder he doesn't want to eat much, with his tummy cut all end-wise! So long as he keeps up with the nibbles of chicken, and drinks enough (you KNOW how critical that is!), I shall hope to see great strides soon!

They all hate them, and they all survive them. He'll be fine, although you may not be! Breathe deep and repeat, "This, too, shall pass!"

.I took his e collar off it was stressing him too much they give us a vest to put on him he did not like that at all so I am keeping a eye on him so he don't mess with his stitches just one more day then they will be out

OH POOR BABY! Not only is his nose out of joint about that cone (even if it is gone NOW), his beautiful coat and his dignity are just in shreds. But I'm so glad that he is improving!
