Obviously I love cats! I enjoy learning more about them, different breeds, behaviour and health and such.

I also enjoy crafts, I like to upcycle old furniture and picture frames, I also buy the deep box frames and make my own pictures with photographs and embellishments.

I don't watch much television but what I do watch is usually health or wildlife documentaries. Also game of thrones I love it:D

I do love music though, and I listen to a fairly wide range, soft rock, pop, metal, ballads, bit of country, and Elvis.:musicnote::dazzler:
your interests are crafts, health or wildlife documentaries, Game of Thrones, and music!!! great!! :)

your projects using old furniture and picture frames, as well as with deep box frames sound very interesting! :agree: i really enjoy 'hands on' type projects, like that!! :D

I love learning about any and all animals, extant or extinct. I try to keep up with various kinds of biology-related news, new studies, research, etc. Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do but I rarely have time to do it anymore. I keep buying books though and I probably have 15-20 unread books on my bookshelf.
learning about all animals; keeping up with biology-related news, new studies, research, and such; and reading are your interests!!! really very nice!! :D

i love to read, but have very limited time to enjoy reading too! :dunno:

I love cats and flowers.
I enjoy spending time in nature- walking, hiking, picnicking, nature photography, etc.
I love to read, I'm currently hooked on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter.
I mostly like older TV shows from the 70s and 80s; some of my favorites are Miami Vice, Magnum PI, and Starsky and Hutch.
I also really enjoy cooking and baking.
flowers, spending time in nature, reading books, watching older tv series, and cooking and baking are your interests!!! that's great!! :)

i really enjoy cooking and especially baking, too! :D

I'm a big gamer though, too, so I really like spending my time playing video games on a huge variety of consoles (Xbox one, Switch, Gamecube, 3DS,
You should add me as a friend on xbox and switch! Because I have no one to play with...and its more fun to play with people. I like playing Mario, Zelda, pokemon, on switch and Forza, Crew2, Assassins Creed, sea of thieves, monster hunter world, on xbox.

Oh boy... other than cats, I love video games, tv shows (especially Game of Thrones, old British sitcoms, The Office (US), and some anime series), and movies (but who doesn't?). I used to be more into reading when I was younger, but I still enjoy it, and I've been looking for books that interest me. In the wintertime, I like to ice skate, and I love fall; Halloween is always so fun for me, definitely my favorite holiday.

I enjoy cooking, although I'm not very good at it - maybe it's more accurate to say that I like eating! :lol2:

After the summer I will be entering junior year of my undergraduate biology degree, but afterwards I plan to go to graduate school in paleontology; I absolutely love learning everything I can about dinosaurs and other prehistoric life.

Finally, I like to draw, although again I'm not very good at it either.

I don't have much time for a lot of reading and watching movies or news, BUT...
my interests would be, should I ever have that time to pursue my interests.....

Early movie industry, and life of early stars all the way up to the forties is what I'm most interested in

I would like to learn and read about the printing industry/business near 1905-1925, especially, and up through the present

I have an online National newspaper subscription that I wish I could read thoroughly, but I have time constraints. I decided on the subscription as I gave up cable tv because of expense and opted for a newspaper which is the next best thing. I wish I had all the time in the world to read up on current world affairs

I would love to study the spoken word and speech and communications therapy but that would be just reading on-line at this point in Life, also I always wanted to read up on the spoken word in The United States, then through now

I have some books ready to read and started on my nook on the subject of the westward expansion in the United States

My career was retail and I would like to read up on the building of the department stores in the early 1900s. I read the book Mr. Selfridge and saw the series, but would like to put it on my nook to read again and read up on early retail.

I would like to learn more about birds and plants in a casual way but that I would like to read online

I like to casually read about farming, mainly online and I used to love the paper subscriptions of Farm & Ranch Living and Reminisce, both magazines. I did give up the subscriptions because I have little free time with working and all, but they were great

I use youtube a lot to watch movies and listen to music

Of course, I love to read TheCatSite.com daily.

I am really enjoying reading all the posts here of what others enjoy!

:fish::sunshine: :fish: :sunshine: :fish: :sunshine: :fish: :sunshine: :fish: :sunshine: :fish:
your interests lie in quite a few areas!!! that's really great!! :D

i love old movies, and the old movie stars! :redheartpump:

Farming, ranching, animal husbandry for ALL things, self sufficiency and living off the land as well as general health of animals in general and how we can work to improve this.
On a whim I watched a short video on cleaning your house/business and purging old crap you no longer need. (it was filmed in a country other than the USA), and it was done in such a way I was inspired and spent the next 2 weeks cleaning this place, and kind of inspired our last-winters cleaning spree during a weather-induced shut down. It was wonderful and I truly loved every second of it.
Also, I LOVE any docu that is able to portray the developmentally disabled in a good light, a light that shows they're human beings with emotions and feelings and stuff.
Sometimes I secretly think the "new" way of doing stuff absolutely sucks (I have had a smart phone for like 10 years and can barely turn the damn thing on) but in cases like this, YES, progress is GOOD.
I also love space stuff, anything related to outer space and planets and what those planets would be like to visit. I never really outgrew that space-obsessed kid I was =D
Also...anything that takes a really great movie or book, and picks it apart to the bare bones. Film and book analysis is something I could do forever and some videos and websites are simply awesome at this and very thought provoking!
Also...anything funny. I LOVE to laugh and things that are silly, funny, and cute just make me crack up. The problem is I usually find my mind wandering to these ridiculous things at the most inappropriate times, so when someone is telling me about how their car broke down I start laughing hysterically and borderline pee my pants because I'm thinking of a funny cat video I was on you tube.
you have a variety of interests!!! really very nice!! :)

'Farming, ranching, animal husbandry for ALL things, self sufficiency and living off the land...' that's something i'd love to do! :agree:

it must have been about 9 years ago that i went through everything i have. i sold some things, and donated others. i still go through things in our home on a regular basis. i don't have much that we don't need and use here. i reorganize often too. while i wouldn't say that i enjoy doing it all, i do very much enjoy having our home organized, and making the best use of the space we have in it. :D

I like documentaries about Ancient Romans or Ancient Egypt. Space, architecture, some travel and nature ones too. I like documentaries on tv better than reading just because the visuals these days are so fantastic. Even if the narration isn't. ;)

If I'm going to read; I go for things on Space, Plants and Gardening. Some bird resources for "backyard birding."
documentaries on particular topics, and reading on Space, Plants and Gardening, and backyard birding are your interests!!! excellent!! :D

i really enjoy travel documentaries too! :agree: there are so many places and things that i'll never go to see in person, so i love seeing them and learning about them via documentaries. :)

I like to cook. :paperbag: :paperbag: I love reading cookbooks, I love trying out new recipes, I love watching cooking shows that show me how to do something. No Chopped or competitions or anything like that (other than the Great British Baking Show), but cooking shows that help me learn a new technique or learn why I have to do something in a certain way. I feel almost embarrassed to say that I enjoy cooking and baking because it seems that it's something that many people just don't do much of anymore. My DIL doesn't cook that much, my sister won't cook unless she has to, many of our friends don't cook anymore because they're retired and don't see the need. They go out to dinner every night instead.

I love to read books about gardening. We haven't had a vegetable garden now in a couple of years, but I still like reading about gardening, houseplants, and flowerbeds. I enjoy looking at pictures of pretty lawns, flowerbeds and gardens and thinking, "Geez, I wish my yard looked like that!" :)

I watch documentaries about space, about our planets, about other solar systems; I find the whole thing to be very intriguing. The comet that killed the dinosaurs, the iridium layer in our earth, all of the past extinctions, our ancient cultures. All very interesting to me.
your interests are cooking and baking :cloud9:, reading cookbooks, learning new cooking/baking techniques or ways to do things; reading books about gardening, houseplants, and flowerbeds; and documentaries about space and 'natural history'!!! really awesome!! :)

ahhh, i love the Great Britsh Baking Show too! :agree:

i think you're right, that many people don't do that much cooking or baking any more. and i wonder if that's the reason why most kitchen counters are 'standard' at 36 inch height these days, instead of the older 'standard' height. i have older standard height counters, as well as one 36" height counter. i'm an average height person, and i wouldn't choose to have 36 inch height counters to work on while cooking and baking. i can stand at my 36" inch counter and use it as a 'standing desk'! :headshake:

i enjoy reading too, though i have limited time available to sit down and read a book. i've found that the genres of books i enjoy reading have changed over time. for example, i used to love reading science fiction books, but not so much any more. these days my favorite genre is history, as well as historical fiction. so, i think our tastes in books can change over time. :dunno:

i think it's great that you like to draw, that it's something you enjoy! :agree:
