I know how you feel as I went through that as well. As I said I was taking him to the vet everyday for his IV fluids and injections (antibiotics, anti nausea, cortisone)the vet was trying everything. Twice during that month he had started to eat a bit and drank water on his own, even scratched his pole and jumped onto bed with me and stuff but after two days he was back to not eating and drinking. The ultrasound showed no tumor but I don't know if there was a tumor somewhere other than his belly. It is a terrible situation. You see some improvement and you get your hopes up and I thought it was a miracle which only lasted two days or three. Keep on trying. Take him back to the vet. He may eventually get better, you can never be sure. God I hope and wish he gets better. Lots of hugs to you both.

OH NO! However, if he has eaten something that won't pass, that's the only thing to do. Most cats come through these surgeries very well, although most of them don't learn a thing from it, sadly!

Keep us posted!

Has he had an ultrasound to see whether there is an obstruction in his stomach? I think I would do that as well as review the X-rays with a radiologist before surgery.

What time is his surgery? I'll be happy to sit in meditation and prayer with him.

Took sandy to the vets for a check up they think he has got a infection on his lower track digestive system he has lost a lot of weight he has stopped eating the vet has given us some pain medication to give him he has gone very quiet he is just lying about all the time the vet said if is sick or don't start eating he will have to have a scan and a x-ray I am worried I think he has got cancer.
It’s most probably uterine infection he will have to have it therapy
