Nice job! My cats are indoor cats and my son built a 3 level catio on the back deck attached to the back window, they just love it, looks like yours love it too!

yup we aren't done with it yet. gonna put a large cat grass container out there. like a 2 or 3 foot by 2 or 3 foot thingy and build some walk ways. this deck is nearly toast though. we're going to have to rebuild it in the next year so this is a temporary structure. gonna do a much nicer one at some point :) huge quality of life improvement for them

thought I'd share though to show that you can build one of these totally on the cheap and easy. I think the whole thing was less than a hundred bucks. we got the netting online. it was the hardest part of the process

Yes, ours cost just under $200 but it's made of 2x4, each level and ramp is wrapped in indoor/outdoor carpet and chicken wire attached to the frame. They are fairly cheap to build depending on what you're looking for, and indoor cats just LOVE the opportunity to be outside. If I'm walking to the back door, mine will run to the back window for me to open the window if it's closed just so they can go outside. Bonus for me is that it's attached to the deck, so on hot days I can leave it open without too much worry about anyone breaking into the house because without tools, you can't move it.

we are in a pretty rural area so not too worried about ppl breaking in. still keep things locked but the cameras would catch anyone trying anything anyway and it's second story. with no stairs
