Poor little Derri, I feel so bad about myself. I was playing with her, dragging the magic stick around her and I got her going around in a tight circle so long and so fast that she crashed over from being dizzy and got frightened. She could not stand at first, fell over and looked me right in the eyes as if to say, "Mum, what's happening to me?" Then she raced downstairs to hide, or rather she tried to but basically fell down the 7 stairs. Her tail was fluffed out like a bottle brush. :sniffle:

Derri Dearie is ok, she came back after a bit and was moving just fine. She is not hiding from me and gave me pets and purrs and showed me her pretty little tummy to pet. Still, I feel terrible I got her into a state where she was frightened. No more circles, not that long.

Yes they get dizzy just like we do. However they usually recover from it much faster than we do. And no they don't blame it on us since it's just something that happens. Mine have gotten themselves a little dizzy chasing that little red dot to intently. Why it was moving in circles like it was I have no idea. ---- I still have no idea how those crazy figure skaters don't fall on their butts after spinning in circles. Oh, I guess they sometimes do.

Oh I know that feeling! I have done stuff like that accidentally to my cats before. You feel so bad about it I know! Thankfully my cats have always been ready to forgive.
