Hi, can you find ways to first get some sleep, and also find ways to take breaks during the days, go outside, read a book, participate in a sport, something to make yourself think about other things. Maybe ask your parents if they or someone would be able to watch over the cat while you sleep and while you take a break.
Is your cat unable to hold it and is making messes every where, or does he typically go in the same places? Maybe you could keep him in a certain room or area and put some plastic on the floor, or something like that to help make the cleanup easier.
But, for you to continue to be able to be there for your cat, you need to be strong and make sure you do for yourself as well.
I'm sending many good thoughts to you and your cat!

What kind of water does Lilly drink? It may be a harmful chemical in the city water supply. Can you try giving him bottled water, to see what happens? Does the vet tell you why he has the diarrhea? Did the vet give you medicine for the diarrhea such as loperamide?

I wish! My family doesn't have time to watch it what makes me overthinking that I don't have enough money to do more test the vet said he's fine in every way will he right when I put him in his clinic he eats more and pooping normally wired right? After 4 days of picking him up and return him to his home and family he stops eating will not completely he eat dry food little bet but not his favorite food!?

Is there something else your cat is coming into contact with or eating that is not his normal food? Something he is experiencing when he's home is causing this, I think. I am not a vet, but can you spend some time trying to determine what that might be? Even something he's walking through and then licking as he's cleaning himself, try and think of everything --from his perspective.

:frustrated: Does he give him any probiotics such as lactobaccillus? It may be that your cat has food allergies. I have a problem similar to your cat but going vegetarian helped me alot - obviously, your cat cannot give up meat. Can you switch Lilly to boiled chicken or hamburger with boiled white rice added? Brown rice can make things worse but white rice works for baby kittens and it works for me.
Furball's Mom is correct - this situation calls for detective work. Are there any houseplants that he is chewing on? Does he eat snacks of people food that contains onions or garlic?

yup new dry food but stupid me I didn't put it slowly but I don't think it's reason I call the vet and told him he's diarrhea is back so he told me to give him chicken and rice and I did but still diarrhea I cut all he's the type of food I don't know what the problem I can't focus dealing with herpes or the diarrhea :(

I cook chicken breast with white rice and still diarrhea I give him tuna same problem so as the beef and no house planet and he didn't touch any wired food he starts to do watery diarrhea after I put him in the vet the first time and I thought maybe from the antibiotic but i finish it still have the problem the second time he calls me to take him he said everything is fine i give him the same type of food lily eat in the house so i don't think its allergic:cringe::frown:

Hi - what if you stick with the chicken, tuna and white rice as well as the dry food for at least two days if not three, if you can. I'm not a vet but I think his system might need a little more time to "catch up".
Also, do try and take a nap at some point, I promise it will help you to feel better, which in turn will help because your cat is picking up on all of your stress :)

I agree with your vet - only chicken and rice for 4 or 5 days. My vet has me give only the chicken broth plus electrolyte replacer (unflavored Pedialyte or the homemade recipe from www.kitten-rescue. Com) for 24-48 hours and then offer only small amounts of chicken and rice (at least 50% rice). This allows kitty' s irritated intestines to calm down. You can also research using red raspberry leaf tea and slippery elm tea - ask your vet as he may have more resources.
Be sure that the cat litter is fragrance-free, unscented because irritated rectal tissues can continue a diarrhea problem. Also, make sure that you are not cleaning his rear-end to the point of irritation.
If you do not see improvement by the end of the week, you can ask your vet about using sulfasalazine. I had the same problem as your cat and it took over a week, but the.sulfasalazine helped me a lot. Screenshot_20180210-125612.png

oh, I see. What if you ask your vet if it would be ok for you to try some goat milk and mix that in to see if your cat likes that better? Or some very bland broth, (no salt, onion or garlic)?

I took him to the vet today he said maybe it IBD :(
I can't take two diseases in one time
He said he will try to give him medicine
And stop it to see if he improve because I don't have any money left to another test I told him I didn't see any throw up all this week he said but there is bad diarrhea so I don't know what do you think?? I never saw this before any antibiotic he said he does have sensitive stomach :(

My cat suffered from a thing called histoplasmosis which effected her intestines. It is a fungal infection which can mimic IBD. She had vomiting, diarrhea, and weight loss. However, she never lost her appetite. It was treated with a regiment of b12 injections, cerenia for nausea, and itraconazol for the infection. It was diagnosed with a urine test.

She’s super healthy now but it was a long process. It might be worth looking into.

I will give him tomorrow already spend all my money for him the last he did is chemistry and it's normal and before that x-ray and fiv test and I did urine test also before one month I guess I don't know what he needs more he said when I give him chicken and rice when he was in the clinic the stool was normal so maybe not IBD?? I did search alot and didn't find anything like him, I'm going to ask him tomorrow for that
Thanks ;*

Keep on fighting for your kitty! IBS/IBD are very difficult to discover. I was always having intestinal problems and did not weigh over 100 lbs until I was 41 years old. It always got blamed on nerves (except when I caught giardia - what a nightmare that was ) until I was in my 50s and I kept running low-grade fevers. Now in my early 60s and it is probably Crohns disease but is controlled with diet and sulfasalazine for flare-ups. A lot of embarrassing, annoying years to go through only to find an inexpensive, easy solution. So I hope that you find good answers soon, and easy answers. Boiled white rice works wonders for me as does the pectin in applesauce. You can ask your vet about using pumpkin and applesauce. Please keep us updated - sometimes pets and babies are so much work! But they are sooo worth it! Sending healing prayers and vibes from California :vibes::vibes::vibes:

Yes, the vet says the same.
I'm sorry about what happened to you
it must have been a difficult time for you:alright:
The vet says he's not sure, but he's sure his stomach is sensitive.
And he needs some time to recover.
I hope he recovers quickly to be happy again :bawling::bawling:
Thank you for your prayers.:redheartpump:

My cat had soft stool for many months- what worked for us was using a probiotic called S. Boullardi. I mix 1 full capsule morning and night into a small spoonful of turkey baby food ( I use gerber turkey and gravy ) not sure what brands you have access to but just double check to be sure it doesn't contain onion or garlic which is toxic to cats. I microwave it for 4 seconds in the microwave and then dump in the capsule of s. boullardi and mix thoroughly with a spoon and she licks from the spoon. Also, I have good success with B12 injections. I got a script from the vet and ordered a bottle of b12 for animals online and also the insulin syringes - I give b12 1x per week. If you google about b12 and cats with loose stool you will see that this is a very effective treatment for IBD. My girl now has firm, formed poops.
