Apart from my troublesome duo kittens, I have a dog!
He lives with my parent's since there's no room at my partner's place, and I can't in good conscious condemn him to a house without the space.
He's still well loved and looked after at my parent's, and that keeps me happy!

His name is Mikey, a.k.a Michael.
and he's a purebred Dalmatian :3

He's 6 years old, and a big ol' loving boof.

He's slept in my bed since I bought him home at 12 weeks.
and unlike the stigma that seems to be around dalmatians, he's got no aggressive bone in his body, and loves everyone and everything.
Especially food.
And swimming.

He's a very in tune dog with me and my family.
Always acts incredibly gentle with my frail grandmother, and knows when I'm in pain or suffering from a depressive episode.
He'll get a toy and bring it to me, and then just lay beside me until I'm better.
The power of puppy medicine can bring me out of the worst problem I'm having.

Have one more photo.
One from when he was a tiny ball of spots.

What a sweet boy! You are such a good pet owner by letting him stay at your parents where he has more space. You must miss him a lot, and I'm sure he appreciates the sacrifice you're making by doing that! Do you get to see him often?

He's got very pretty spots! My mom has a dalmation, and her dog is also very sensitive to people's moods / needs when they aren't feeling well. Thanks for sharing pics of your precious pup! :thanks:

Dalmations have a gentle nature which was needed as they were originally breed as carriage dogs. He looks lovely and I bet you miss him.

I used to have a Dalmatian, they are such great dogs. Once they're out of puppyhood. Mine also was very good natured, unless you came in unannounced, then his protectiveness would take over.
You know they were bred for their bark? That's why they were used to run in front of horse drawn fire engines, to warn people to move. That bark is intense.
Is he an American Dalmatian? He doesn't look like the leaner European ones. He is a beauty. I just love Dalmatians.
