I hate to say it but judging by her weird dead cat profile pic Im half tempted to say this is just a prank or something.

you could be right. His avatar was not a dead cat before.

I think she started with the dead cat, but a 15 year old who was afraid (or knew) the kitten was badly injured might do that. We'll never know unless we get an update, which doesn't look like is going to happen. No point speculating.

I hate when this happens, being left hanging and never knowing.

I can understand though, this is a kid. Her guilt must be absolutely horrible right now, with massive parental punishment and possibly grief mixed in. No matter what happened to the kitten coming onto this site just to ease our curiosity would be the absolute last thing on her list, and might even be a trigger for even more guilt and possibly grief.

Well, if this was real, and the worst has happened, I will keep this thread on my watched list. If she comes back, I will be here.

If someone feels a post is suspicious, please report the post. Let the Mods review the post. It's our job. It's not appropriate to post in a thread questioning the legitimacy. How would you feel if you were extremely stressed, came on here and posted about it only to have someone say you were being a troll?

Also, the avatar is the Twitter bird dead, not a cat.
