3 baby kittens rescued in the Lilac Fire burn area of San Diego county! All 3 unharmed and in foster care.

Alicia88 , that's happened with all of the dangly toys on our cat furnishings as well. The latest one is on Elvis' bed, put there, no doubt, by him.
catsknowme , that is THE BEST post IMHO. SO glad to read this and may they be safe in loving permanent homes very soon!
Another evening and we are safe and sound, looking forward to some good food and a relaxing evening.

I don't want to win anything as I won socks which I still wear and then won again which I asked to be given to the next person in line. I"m just here to put in my 3 cents worth and keep the thread going. If I win again (how likely is that?) I will again give it to the next person in line. Isn't it weird that I never win anything anywhere else (door prizes etc) but have won twice on this site? Do the gods favor me? Nah!

It's just nice to know all our babbling is helping cats somewhere, isn't it?

On the other hand......a nice pair of warm fluffy socks......

Spotted this on youtube. It is about a Rescue kitten in Greece and a very positive message.

It's supposed to snow today, but turn into rain some time tomorrow. Then no snow till next weekend.

I don't have to cook dinner today, because we have lots of leftovers.

Saw (and really enjoyed!) The Disaster Artist tonight. And then when I made it home Lelia was in the windowsill facing the parking lot sitting and waiting for me. I love when she does that and I can wave to her.

I look away from this thread for what feels like 20 minutes, and it's at 1111 posts! Wow! Good job everyone. Had the family over today, and that went well. We had cake and pizza, since my birthday is on the 14th and so are some little ones'. Not on the same day, but close.

Went to a family christmas party tonight. It was great being able to see everybody and have fun out there. Of course, the cats weren't too thrilled with it. It made their dinner late!

I usually never get sick, but try as I might to ignore it, I have the flu or something. I know that's not very PAWsitive, but on the bright side, I did get someone to cover my shift tomorrow, so I can rest some more. I've found a cat cuddling / purring on your chest to be a very effective remedy this far.

No, there doesn't seem to be any pattern to her fur colour changes. Her two sisters, Twinkle and Chicken, have both gone through very pale grey stages and then back to their usual dark tabby as well. I'm really not sure what's up with them.



They could have a bit of Siamese in them. There were a few blue eyed pointed kittens born in the colony they are all from. Who knows? It's all a bit of a mystery.

On the positive side, it's always fun to have a new colour for a new season, isn't it?

My sister had a very rough week, but I think I've managed to cheer her up a bit.

It's looking very "Christmassy" around here, seeing as it's snowing again.

Belle is a great help in alleviating the pain of losing Cub.

I'm thankful that all my babies are young and in good health. God willing it'll be 20 years or more before they leave me.

After discovering the snow for the first time this morning, Missy has started to explore it. She's having a good time !!!

Cub and Belle I'm sorry for your loss. Pets can be such great therapy. I remember reading somewhere that 75% of people who are in the hospital would rather be visited by their pet instead of their spouse! Hugs to you and Belle

I am surprised to see a photo of my Missy in a post that is not mine, Cub and Belle ... Did you do it on purpose or by mistake ? No problem to me...The more Missy, the better...
