My pointed babies only hold still for photos when it’s nap time. When they zoom through the house at warp speed, it’s harder to get a clear picture. :p

And because he was also a gorgeous pointed cat, here’s Toby, the Himalayan my mom had when I was born. Unfortunately, this photo is the only one I have, and it doesn’t do him justice. He was such a sweet and handsome kitty.

AmyTheKittyMommy AmyTheKittyMommy - Your new little bundles are wonderful, but Toby was absolutely regal. What a grand fellow he much have been.

1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine The fuzzballs say thank you. :hearthrob:
Toby really was great. I don’t remember much of him, since he passed when I was 6 (at the age of 19), but Mom says he was wonderful. She tells me he was a very gentle kitty, and he loved me when I was a baby. He used to sneak into my crib to snuggle with me.
Maybe that’s why I love cats so much... I was adopted by one at birth! :winkcat:

We don’t quite have her yet...but soon she will be ours! Siberian/Neva Masquerade baby...I miss her, and am terrified of adjusting to cat #2 :dizzy: I have an only (human) child, so no experience in this area...don’t worry, will follow proper cat intro instructions :beerchug:

auntie auntie - She's absolutely adorable. How long until the breeder releases her to you?

auntie auntie - It will be here before you know it.

Alejandra Rico Alejandra Rico - Every time I see that beautiful Bichisoise, I think to myself, "cats like cream and chicken stock; there must be a poem in there about a cat ordering Vichyssoise in a fancy restaurant with 'no leeks, no onions, no potatoes' but the poem never comes to me.

Don't worry - mid-December's coming. I remember the wait - the interminable wait - between the time my Mother and I picked this little one out of a litter of only two:

and the day we went to pick her up. I remember the ride home distinctly, holding her in the back seat, and how soft and warm she was - and stopping at an intersection for a Flag Day parade to pass by. It seems like just yesterday; June fourteenth, 1958.

He’s so handsome, he kinda looks like Korin’s mom. What bread is he?
Whith his colour, I should say that he is a seeded wholemeal bread ;)
Just kidding! It is good to see that someone else is having trouble with a stubborn autocorrect.
He is , to all effects, a domestic shorthair cat, as we found him and his brothers and cousin in our garden. I can tell that his Siamese heritage is more recent than that of most feral pointed cats because my neighbourhood is a little bit "special". Two families in this area had Siamese purebreed cats uneutered, with free access to the whole neighbourhood, as they were indoor-outdoor cats. Of course, they mixed with the, by that time, very very few fetal cats living in the area (well, they were more like comunitary cats, as many people fed them). His mother and aunt where very thin, delicate and angular cats, and I think they could have easily pass as ley quality Siamese cats.
Bichi is big. He is a very solid, muscular cat. When I say big, I don't mean Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest "big", but he is definetly huge for a non gigant breed. I think he was 6 kg and something last time we weighed him (between 13 and 14 pounds), and he wasn't fully grown back then.
So, to sum up, he is a cute "moggie" but looks like a gigant Siamese :D
