We recently just went through a devestating loss with our cat. We lost her way too young to a rare form of stomach cancer. To honor her memory we adopted 3 strays (all three were kittens born on the streets) so they could have a good life. Everyone on the rainbow bridge forum asked for some pictures so here they are. A few side notes:

Pic 8: He is actually yawning! It was caught at a perfect time so it looks like he is being super aggressive.

Pic 12: We kittened proofed our family room and blocked access to the rest of the house. This way the kittens can have a ton of area/toys to play with all day without the risk of getting lost/injured.

Jason, thanks for sharing the pictures. Wow, that looks like a kitty paradise. Which one is Luna? What are the other cats' names?
Luna is the black and white kitten. Toki is the black one and Wolife is the grey and white one. For those commenting on the cat tower; Toki and Wolife love it to death. They love hanging off the top and pawing at each other. Best way to describe it is that it looks like a sword fight out of the pirates of the Caribbean movie where they are fighting off the sail mast. We haven't been able to capture the moment on video yet but hopefully one of these days we do!!

Adorable ! Are they from the same litter ?
Thank you! The two boys (Wolfie and Toki) are from the same litter. They are both about 13 weeks old now. Luna is from a different litter and 17 weeks old. But they have all bonded and become extremely close. Last Wednesday we took the boys to be neutered. When they came back we had to separate all 3 cats because they like to rough play with each other. The boys would not stop crying all day/night because they couldn't all be together! At least now me and the wife can go on vacation and not worry about them being lonely because they all enjoy each others company so much.

How did you come up with the names? Any special meanings?
My wife picked out all the names.
Toki (most likely I'm spelling it wrong): Means defender of man in old norse because he is the brave one of the bunch
Wolfie: Because he looked like a little grey/white wolf
Luna: Just a pretty girly name that my wife thought would fit her

Hi Maggie, thanks for asking. They are all growing up really quickly and without issues. The two boys are already 8 Lb's!! I'm surprised at how quickly they are growing considering that they are only 5.5 months old. Its all healthy weight too, no fat on either of them! Now Luna is another story. She is already 10 lb's at 7.5 months. She loves to overeat so we had to put her on a diet. Other then that they are all really well behaved. They don't bite or scratch us. They have also bonded really well and all three get along with each other. Basically they have adjusted to our house really well and we are happy to have them in our lives.

What a wonderful family! I've always said the perfect cat family is two boys to play together and a girl to keep them in line. Absolutely beautiful, I'm sure they are the luckiest kittens in the world right now!
