So my mom and I are moving back in together and we've luckily found a place which will let us have our animals. My cats are both pretty anxious guys and on top of the move they'll suddenly be living with my mom and her dog. They've all met each other and tolerate each other alright, but I'd like to make this as easy for them as I can.
(Dog could care less but him and my boys are not friends yet. My boys are wary but it only takes a week or two for them to be able to peacefully cohabitate a space so I'm confident with time and patience they'll get on just fine)
I've already stalked up on kitty nip, toys and we're spending a lot of time together cuddling but I'd love to hear any suggestions!

Thanks in advance <3

Your pair of bookends with whiskers are adorable. :greenpaw::bluepaw: If you are asking about your cats and mom's dog adjusting to the move I would recommend covered litter boxes - speaking from experience dogs like to investigate and eat kitty snacks.:rolleyes2: A few baby gates would be a good idea so the cats can escape and have their own space. A cat tree would help since most cats like high places. Best of luck! Please keep us posted after the move.

Thank you! Bookends with whiskers hehehe, that's them alright. Yeah, food is going to be an interesting hurdle...lol Rogue (the little spoon lol) eats EVERYTHING. But I'll definitely be looking at baby gates! That's a great tip. I'm less worried about them and the woofer getting on and more concerned how they'll handle the move, as this is going to be completely new for them!
I've been stressed about it, which is stressing them out, and for Rogue that means peeing on my things and for Spook (big spoon) that means a very upset tummy and the runs for a week or two (though that's getting less common as he ages, they're both one year old). So I'd like to avoid as much of that as we can! rofl

neely neely I'll look into those, thank you!

Mark Lehrkind Mark Lehrkind Unfortunately I don't think that's something which can be managed. They're pretty hyperactive kitties and letting those two masters of disaster free roam a vehicle sounds like danger
