Someone please help me!!!! My 7 week old kitten cries and starts making a weird noise when he gets picked up or moves wrong when he's laying down. He refuses to go to that bathroom and has thrown up a couple of times. I had to use a small syringe to help him drink water. Im so scared that im going to lose him.
He barely moves and can hardly pick his head up. His eyes are dilated and he shakes. When I set him in the litter box he just kind of sits there.
The noise he makes is kind of like a scream mixed with a cry. He wasnt doing this a couple days ago or yesterday when I went to work. I checked his feces and vomit and there arent any worms that i can see. Could he have eaten something he shouldnt have? It seems like there was human hair in his poop but Im not sure. please help me.

Your kitten needs to be visisted by a vet as soon as possible. It seems that something is bothering his GI tract.
Took him to a vet now!

if he doesnt get better by morning Im having my mom take me to the vet office so i can have him looked at

Meanwhile keep him warm and comfortable, just try to give him some water with a syringe like you are already doing. Do not force him to eat.
Please let us know.

I feel like he got sick from copying his mom by drinking out of the dogs bowl. I have a specific dish for him because my other 2 cats bowl is too tall for him I just gave him water again and he seems more willing to drink than he first was. Hes really attentive to his surroundings so when I move the bag hes on or one nearby he snaps his attention to that item. Im just more worried about the noise. My dad wants me to go down to the store and get this medicine that you put in their water for worms to see if that work because I guess hes had the symptoms of worms for a couple of days now. Hes really playful so when I was crotcheting when i got home and he didnt go after the yarn inew something was wrong. Im going to keep giving him water like every half hour and see if that helps.

Do you mean that you think the dog's bowl water was infected with something?
Unless it was very dirty water from unknown sources then this could be a possibility.
But if the water was rather clean and from the tap and only the dog or other house pets have drunk from it I wouldn't worry about that bowl.

I wouldn't give him anything until you know what's bothering him. Please, do not give him any meds without your vet consent and prescription. You could do worse than it is.

What time does your vet open their office?

i honestly have no idea but he just got in the litterbox and tried to go. and hes standing a lot more steady and his breathing has gotten better. i forgot to mention that he was taking short and chopoy breaths but theyre a lot longer and stronger now and he hasnt made the noise for almost an hour now. im going to go to sleep and check on him when i wake up

Even if he seems "okay" when you wake up, he needs to go the vet regardless.

I would like to throw in my vote to get the kitten to the vet. You said the kitten copied mom, is it still norsing? He is probably eating on his own, and that should be wet kitten food. We'd love to see pics!
