My 4 year old female cat had bladder stones removed on Wednesday. She was given 3 days of pain meds when she came home she seems to be doing well, eating drinking she is peeing bigger amounts sometime but still seems to pee little bits quite often. Surgery was only 4 days ago so is this normal. I would guess her bladder is still irritated. I dont want to read to much into this. Should i just be patient

I wish I could help you, but I have no experience with this. Hoping someone with some experience comes along shortly.

Her bladder will be sore and sensitive for quite awhile. As long as she keeps peeing regularly, and does not seem to be xstraining with nothing coming out, she should be fine. You should be feeding her only WET food in order to keep her maximally hydrated. Proper diet should prevent bladder stones in the future unless she has some other chemical problem. She should have mainly meat protein (not vegetable protein), fat, and VERY FEW CARBOHYDRATES in order to keep her urinary pH in the proper range to prevent the most common type of bladder stones. Here is a fairly general article about the types of urinary stones in cats. Urine Crystals and Bladder Stones in Cats: Formation, Diet and other Treatment
