Hi, my kitty is 10-month old. He is 100% on wet canned food. I read so much about the types of cats food. Read the recent recall of the Weruva BFF and very disappointed. I have this thought that I may want to homecook the meat (chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, pork and their organs) with added premix supplement, for my kitty. Is there a simple way, that is I just steam/boil the meat then add a premix that has all the needed nutrients? Can anyone recommend the complete premix that I can buy? Guess you know what my intention as I am very confuse and would not take the trouble to add this and that, etc. I just want to have 2 steps, cooked meat and add the required supplement all in one. :)

You'll find this helpful: Home-Cooked Cat Food Resources

If you use a pre-mix, all you do is cook the meat. The pre-mix has instructions on how to cook the meat. EZComplete is a popular pre-mix as is UStew and TCFeline. Many pre-mixes are for boneless organ less meats only while others need the addition of organs and liver. Check the pre-mix product info before you buy. If you use a pre-mix that is for boneless organ less meat, you can give organs as a treat.

The BFF recall only affects Australia.

Sorry accidentally press the post...

Thanks all. I have readup on EZ Complete on their website. Great and may want to try out giving raw meat with this premixm. :)
I went to their website to place order but when press checkout, it says page can't display. I have dropped them a note.
By the way, anywhere I can buy EZ Complete or must be from them? Thanks again.

EZComplete is only sold on that web site. I just tried ordering it (just to see) and I can get to the secure check out page wher you enter credit card info and shipping address. What web browser are you using? Try a different one if possible.

I started doing home cooking with EZ Complete. It was super easy to use and my cats all did very well on it. Once the cats were all adjusted to home cooking and eating it full time, EZ Complete became wayyyy too expensive when I was cooking for 6 cats. So I now am adding my own supplements.

I have an unopened bag of EZ Complete. It is the 260 servings. I would be willing to send it to someone for the cost of shipping. I really thought I would continue to use both, but once I got onto adding my own supplements, I never went back to it. It' just collecting dust here. PM if you are interested. I need for this to be US only.

I have successfully transist my kitty to the raw boneless meat added with the premix Ez Complete bought direct fm the company. So incidentally, my country has recently tightening its rules, ie no import of meat and meat related products into the country for domestic consumers. :(
I was looking around at my local pet shop of any such premix and landed on this product, Wysong Call of the Wild. Seems the only ptemix I can find. Is that comparable to Ez Complete which I can use on boneless raw meat? Is it good? Any one has comments or advice to offer?
