My cat has ckd2 and chronic pancreatitis. I have tried MANY different brands of wet food and Ziwipeak was the only brand she would eat. But after the product was renewed(ingredient changed), she would not eat it anymore. Can anyone recommend other brands with similar ingredient or just other brands? Thank you in advance for the help!(I have tried all kinds of INSTINCT canned food (lamb, turkey, venison, rabbit,,,all.)but she will not eat any of them)

The only two brands I recommend are Nature's Variety Instinct and Tiki. Both brands have high quality ingredients with no gums or carrageenan. You can also try out "limited ingredient" variants that some brands offer, quite a few available. Another thing you could also try is to add food/flavor toppings (such as Forti-Flora probiotics, some cats go nuts over it!) on your wet food to get her to at least try it.

Keep us updated :)

Are you absolutely sure your cat isn't nauseated? Cats hide it quite well when they don't feel good, but signs can be sniffing food and walking away, lip smacking, inappetance. CKD kitties as well as pancreatitis kitties often suffer from inappetance, your vet should have given you something for nausea during pancreatitis flare ups. My Tiger was both CKD and had chronic pancreatitis, my vet gave me Cerenia tabs for her occasional vomiting, plus Ondansetron for nausea. You can try several things to make food more appetizing, such as toppers like bonito flakes and crumbled Pure Bites or the like.

Have you tried sprinkling freeze dried treats on top of the Ziwipeak? My cat isn't a big fan of the new formula either so I have to sprinkle freeze dried chicken on top and it seems to work. I probably won't buy ZP again though.

Feline Natural is another high quality wet food perhaps you can try. Mine enjoy the chicken and lamb

Good luck

Have you tried the dry version? Or maybe freeze-dried?
I would recommend Feline Natural. That and ZP are really premium in my opinion.

Her poor appetite is not due to nausea, she always only ate Ziwipeak cans and she would not eat any other brands (canned food). Since her health condition worsened, she's still only liking the Ziwipeak and I am already using fluids and Cerenia. Thanks for the comment.
