Anyone know how much is too much as far as trips to the water fountain for a 14yo cat. Eats only wet food. Temperaure btw 76-80 F. Weighs about 12.5 lbs

How did you measure your cat's temperature? Normal body temperature for cats is 100.4-102.5 F, and the standard way of checking a cat's temperature is via the rectum.

Oh, I'm sorry, did you mean the room temperature?

Do you think she's drinking more than 8 oz a day? Have her drinking habits changed recently? Like she's suddenly drinking more than usual?

I'm sorry, I got confused on the temperature as well. LOL. Is your kitty peeing more often? Losing any weight?

Did a geriatric profile about 3-4 mos ago, so he was tested for diabetes, renal failure, hyperthyroidism (also pancreatitis). I did notice some increase in drinking frequency at that time. Right now I am measuring the volume of water he's drinking and I have a 24 hr cam monitoring his drinking. Don't yet have the results.
