 Bless you for moving funding around ( which is sometimes like moving Heaven and Earth). I wish that the vets would give a "rescue/ferals" discount.
In my opinion, your new kitten looks like he has some Maine Coon - the large triangular ears, the boxy muzzle, the large eyes set at a slanted angle. Except his coat, he favors my purebred MC.

Wonderful, so glad you took her to the vet. Did he give her a an antibiotic shot for the URI? That injection should ward off any infection she may have incurred with the open wound. Please have on hand kitten chow in a bowl 24/7. And ffed her as much of canned food she wants to eat 3-4 time daily. How is her pottying going with the litter box? Are you using, I believe the term is "unclumping" litter? Now you have to figure out a name for her. She looks very darling. How are her eyes? Did the vet say she had an infection in them or is it just that she is not feeling 100% at this time?:)

She is a sweetheart and you and your husband are sweethearts for taking her in. You've treated her wonderfully. It sounds to me like she is eating well - kittens have small stomachs and since she hasn't eaten in a while, she probably can't take much at a time.

Eye infection too. Oral antibiotics. They did the wound cleaning for free, which was nice. I think she has some bengals in her too. But the MC, didn't even think about that n I used to have one! Her name is Foxtrot. Since already have Whiskey and Tango.

Yes! Calling her Foxy, she's happily back in the bathroom, eating and drinking. She gets two doses of oral antibiotics for the infections and the wound. The vet even knocked off more $$ bc I promised to bring the whole family from now on. She weighs 1.2 lbs. which is surprising. Purring away now! I'll update with pics before bed hubs says she is our new outside kitty... lol. Just like the other three are (not).
