Hi everyone!

I adopted Misty (the brown tabby in my profile picture) from the metro shelter almost a year ago. She will be 2 y/o in August and is full of energy.

When we first brought her home she was very skinny and wasn't so sure of herself. She didn't have confidence to climb the cat tree and would mostly just spend her time on the couch. Once she gained some weight and got on a healthy diet she became a crazy kitty!

Now she runs all over the place jumping and patting at our legs when we walk by. I like to call her our parkour cat because she will jump from furniture piece to piece then jump on her cat tree and so on. She loves toys and can keep herself entertained for hours with just a twisty tie.

She has brought nothing but joy into our lives. Not once have I ever heard her hiss at us or be nasty. She is the absolute sweetest.

Thanks so much!
Kaelin

Welcome to TCS! Misty is certainly very beautiful, and clearly athletic as well! I hope to see you and Misty around the forums! :hellocomputer:

Side note: please supervise Misty carefully when she's playing with twist ties. Those can be easily swallowed, and the metal in the tie can slice the intestines. I don't mean to sound harsh, I just want to make sure that you're keeping your sweet baby safe! :catrub:

Hello princessmia princessmia and Misty, welcome to TCS :wave3:

Thank you for adopting Misty. She is a lovely cat :lovecat::lovecat4:

It's good to hear that she is back in the healthy range and is active. Misty and my boy January is alike, he too is a parkour cat, bouncing off furnitures, scaling to the top of wardrobes and kitchen cabinet and cat tree.

Glad you've found this site and joined as this site has lots of good reads and informations. Do browse around and if you have questions, do ask.

Also post more of Misty's photos for us to see. Enjoy the site

Welcome to the site. Hope to hear from you and see pictures of Misty.

Another side note: Tie a knot in a straw and let her play with that instead of the twisty tie.

Hey guys! Here are a few pictures of Misty. The first one is her first day home from the shelter (she was rather skinny).
