Ideas For Our Photo Contests?

Thanks everyone for the awesome ideas! Keep them coming! Some we had in previous years but with so many new members joining every year I'm sure that would be ok.

"I Forgot How to Cat"

Yoga cats!

- Cat Thieves

- Cats trying to eat food they shouldn't be eating

- Cat bumbums

- Patriotic Cats (From all countries)

- Cats who sit and look like bread

- History Cats (Dressed as a historical figure or in a historical setting like in a cardboard tank, for example)

- Evidence that our Cats are trying to take over the world

- Cat noses

- Cats that look like liquid (Via laying around in a funny, flexible way)

- Cats and their favourite treats

- First thing you see in the early morning when cats are trying to wake you up

- Cats besides "fake" cats, like a toy cat or plush cat.

- Cats and shedding season

- Dancing Cats (Or at least look like they are dancing, of course in an amusing freeze frame shot)

- Cats who look and/or act like famous cats (Simon's Cat, Salem, Garfield, Cole and Marmalade, Sylvester, Grumpy Cat etc etc)

Speaking of freeze frame shots, what about a contest with a chosen freeze frame shot from a video of your cat?

I do like the "bread cats", "cat noses", and "dancing cats".

Cats in the kitchen.

Cats at the window.

Cats and doors/doorways.

Cats with favorite toy.

Cats sleeping in unusual poses.

Cats being nosy, or "investigating".

Cats in a sound sleep/nap.

How about cats with three legs in happy and cozy and playful poses? These cats are inspiring.

Mother's Day-
A contest about mama cats and their kitten(s).

Yes, other posters have suggested it already, but I just wanted to say you just can't get better than cats in sinks.

Cats taking over their humans' couch or recliner.

I love the idea of mama cats and their kittens like mattkat has suggested!

So many fun ideas already, along with previous competitions but here's a couple:

Stretching cats
Grooming time
Cats and their windows / window watching
In tight spaces

I have an idea!

Cats who "hug" their own faces with one or two paws while they are sleeping or stretching! So cute!

Like this gif file, only the contest would be for photographs...
