Today's weights!

2- 148- up 18 grams from yesterday

3- 159 up 12 grams from yesterday

4- 126 up 13 grams from yesterday

Also kitten 3 is already starting to open his eyes, they aren't even a week old yet... isn't it a little early?

Finally got a couple of pictures of Sabrina! She always looks so scared. You can feel her spine and hip bones when you pet her... I think most of her weight now is from the pregnancy. I don't see her eating much here, but she is only just warming up to me.

Nope, one of my kittens opened his eyes at 5 days old! In general, short-haired kittens open their eyes earlier than long-haired kittens. 7-10 days is the average, but some kittens take a full 14 days.

The weight gains are awesome! This is what we want to see daily. Your supplementing clearly helped #4.

Any news with Olivia and Sabrina today? Also, is Lilly still with you, or has she gone to her furr-ever home now?

Sabrina is a lovely orange kitty. She does look slightly apprehensive in the pictures. Hopefully she'll begin eating more soon. Do you give your pregnant and nursing cats kitten chow along with their wet food? Or do you use adult dry food?

No kittens from Olivia or Sabrina yet! My pregnant and nursing moms get Purina One Kitten Chow. They usually get canned kitten food as well, but we just had a ton of other wet food donated to us so we are using that with them for now and saving our canned kitten food for when the kittens start weaning. We still have Lilly! We like to let them recover here a few days before they are adopted, we have a couple of applications in on her so we will review them soon!

Sounds good! I find that spayed cats need about a week to rest up, heal, and get their full energy back. It's major invasive surgery. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

@ashade1  Somehow, I lost track of this thread, and just found it again thanks to @HelloMissKitty  .  I am so sorry that you lost your little runt, but happy that the others seem to be thriving.  I won't lose you again!

This picture cracks me up for some reason. It looks like one of them told a good joke and they are all laughing!

Olivia is driving me crazy with this kitten waiting. She is HUGE! Her babies were kicking up a storm this morning! As far as Sabrina goes, I really wouldn't have thought pregnant had I not seen the babies move... her nipples are not large or pink... do you think it is possible that she won't produce milk because of the vaccines?
