Hello all! I'm really happy to have stumbled upon this forum!
I have a kitty that seems to be allergic to everything :) Kidding, not everything, only chicken :) So it has become really hard to find food for her, as a lot of brands add at least some kind of chicken by-product to their food (and I'm a bit limited when it comes to hypoallergenic foods available here). Has anyone had experience with feeding this food to allergic cats? It seems that there are no ingredients in it that would bother her, but I would like to double check :)

Thanks!

I was feeding my cat Wellness Salmon variety.  This is a superior product, but also very expensive and sold at limited pet stores. I decided to try her on Taste of The Wild (fishy). She has always been a good mouser. Since eating TW she has been killing birds and rabbits. Totally blows me away. She is a small female that I had spayed after her first litter. Whatever ingredients are in the food definitely appeals to her wanting game other than mice. Very impressed with this product.

Thanks for this thread. Last spring my cat had a high ph (no symptoms of trouble, though) so the vet recommended a prescription urinary tract health diet. She ate it at first and her ph came down to normal. But she stopped eating it so I switched her to TotW (venison and salmon version). She liked it and I noticed her coat became more glossy. But there was a spot on her chin which lost hair so I wondered if she was allergic to the chicken. Last week I bought a bag of the TotW Canyon River and she has been happily gobbling it up. But today she seems to be constipated. I suspect she ate too much at one time so I'll have to monitor her consumption. But, all in all, I'm extremely happy with it. She'll go to the vet in May for her annual check-up and her urine will be tested again. Hopefully it is still normal. I don't want to force her to eat a food she dislikes.
