^ I have given up trying to go to a store and purchase wall hangings.  I had to buy two large ones, and they just wouldn't fit in my car, and I hate driving hubby's truck in the city in traffic.  I have been ordering from Bed Bath & Beyond online (got some nice items there!!) and Overstock.com as well.  I have also found some unique items on Etsy!

> I have a plethora of old wall decorations, pictures, paintings, prints, etc. crammed in my closet.  I think I am going to take them to donate soon, since most are out of style and just taking up space.

v  Do you change your décor frequently?  I don't, unfortunately, and I guess my house looks out of date. But I have nothing fad-ish, mainly timeless things and antique things that have meaning to us.

^Do not change decor much.
>Figured out it's about 7 weeks or so for the end of winter weather.
vDo you keep up-to-date with physicals, mammograms, etc.?

^ I do as long as my family doctor reminds me, usually get it done in January to get it out of the way.

> I am on leave of absence from one of my jobs because of health issues. I have more spare time than I'm use to.

v What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

^ Honestly, sleep.  I am just run to death during the week and don't ever sleep well, so I nap whenever I possibly can.  Makes for boring weekends at home because I will nap at least a couple of hours on Saturdays and Sundays, but if I don't I am utterly exhausted. Spare time for me is really truly rare, but I read--avid reader!

> I am developing a problem of waking up earlier and earlier.  And when I wake up, I'm awake--no going back to sleep.  Lately it has been about 4:45 when my eyelids pop open like a sprung window shade.  I go to sleep at night with no problem and sleep through the night--just keep waking up earlier and earlier.

v  Are you an early riser?

^Most definitely. 8.30 a.m. is the very latest that I will stay in bed. I can get up at 6 a.m. without too much pain.
>Heavy snow predicted for tomorrow, which is a huge pain in the bum.
vAre you a night owl?

^ Oh yes, I stay up until the wee hours of the morning. I really want to get on a normal sleep schedule. It's a vicious cycle of not being able to get to bed early because I've slept late that morning, and vice versa. Any suggestions?

> I'm getting my bedroom closet ceiling checked out after water got in during a heavy rain. Fingers crossed that there's no mold inside or outside of it.

v Do you run a fan or anything else to keep from hearing noise while you are sleeping?

^I am a sensitive sleeper. Even husband's heavy breathing will disturb me. Cannot sleep without foam ear plugs.
>My new towels just arrived from LLBean one day early due to everyone freaking out about tomorrow's snowstorm.
vAre you excited when mail order boxes arrive?

^  Yes, and it's so silly because usually, I'm just getting things like cat litter.

>  February 28th is Chula and Paul's "Gotcha Day" which I celebrate as their birthday.  They have two wand toys coming in the mail so we can give Da Bird a rest.

v  Do you celebrate your cat's birthdays or gotcha days?

^ She normally gets extra treats and sometimes a toy. We picked up some hypoallergenic treats and the vets recently that she loves.

v does it snow where you live?

^ Only once or twice a year normally, and even then usually no more than 3-4".

>  Where I live we are prone to getting ice storms, rather than snow.  We are just on that line.  Ice storms cause things to come to a halt, electric lines down and out due to trees snapping, no water in a lot of homes who are on electricity-operated wells

v  Have you suffered through an ice storm or snow storm with power outages for up to a week?  I have twice...made it fine, but what an experience.  You definitely get a lot of "family time".

^I guess a little bit. I'll probably get my spouse some candy and I'll probably get some candy back, and that's fun.
> A few years ago I wrote all of my friends Valentine's limericks on Facebook.
v What's your favorite candy?

^  I'm getting my notifications but this was a problem a couple of weeks ago.  Check out the Site Help forum and post for help there.

>  Paul and Chula just got a new toy and they don't like it.

v  What was the last toy you got your cat(s) that they didn't like?

^I think a bag of catnip that was a different brand than the usual. They seemed totally interested.

> My cats go against the stereotype and usually like all of the items I buy for them, although they *also* like cardboard boxes.

v Do your cats like any word foods?

^  I'm not sure I understand the question.

>  I have always wished I could play the stand-up bass and/or a saxophone.

v  Is there a musical instrument that you wish you could play?

(Oops sorry, autocorrect got me. I meant to say weird foods. [emoji]129296[/emoji])

^I'd love to play almost any instrument, but lately I've really wished I had a piano to play. I did take piano lessons for years, but I can't play now due to lack of an instrument.
>I currently only have 1 guitar, but I've played several other instruments in the past.
v What instruments do you play or have you played in the past?

^ Oh, none at all. I'm not musically inclined in the least!

> I have some enormous piles of laundry to do today.

v How often do you do laundry?
