What a tough year this has been for music. Unbelievable that another great is gone.

What is your favorite George Michael song? I really like a lot of them. One of my favorites is "One More Try"

Can I say all? 

I think I was 21 when Wham! hit. Even though it was a bit too "pop" for my tastes, I couldn't help but like it anyway.  George Michael, being the reason.

Beautiful voice. One of the best. I was quite saddened to hear the news this morning. So unexpected. 

It's hard to pick but I'll go for Careless Whisper.  I'm not sure it's one of his best songs but it was on the radio all the time during an important period of my life.  Hearing it brings back what life felt like back then.  What a beautiful voice he had.

Love his performance at Live Aid with Elton.

I loved Fastlove for a long time, it came with a really sexy clip.


I also really like Jesus to a Child which was written for his partner who died the year before.  

I must confess, I didn't know who he was and had to look him up.      Some of his songs sounded familiar but obviously I wasn't a big fan.  He sure was young to die, though.

Don't feel bad I had only heard the name before, that was pretty much it.  I have pretty eclectic taste in music though, I was well aware of Leonard Cohen's work when he passed this year but a lot of people probably hadn't ever heard of him.

I was never a George Michael fan, but darn it, too many really talented people have passed this year. Way too many.

I don't think there is a song by him I DON'T like, many I heard on TV after his passing I didn't even know he sang, but loved them all the same. I danced to many of them eons ago! Faith is probably my favorite. 

I don't think there was a song of his that  I didn't like, but I agree with the OP and think my absolute favorite is One More Try.  He has such a beautiful voice, and gone from us much too young!

Very sad news. 2016 really has been a terrible year for losing our celebrity icons.

I loved Careless Whisper and watched that video a lot back in the day.  I also like Last Christmas, which I'd heard a lot on the radio these past few weeks. 

The whole album Listen Without Prejudice vol. 1 is phenomenal, from beginning to end. Such talent this man had, love him.

I've just read that Carrie Fisher, Ricky Harris, Richard Addams and Liz Smith have all passed away in the last few days.



Really, 2016? Enough!

Just noticed did George go from Blue to Brown eyes?

 (vain I know) if you look on videos posted you will notice difference...
