They're both beautiful.
Yes! Those amber eyes on Mittens have developed over the last couple of weeks! Misty's eyes are still quite green/grey at the moment, but guessing that they'll probably stay that colour! Having not seen either of their parents I can only guess that one had amber eyes and the other had green eyes! Not quite sure how cat genetics work in this case!

We've also noticed that Mittens' black patches arent completely black.. much of it is a chocolate brown with black stripes, which is more noticeable during the day.

Quick question, we've been doing a mix of 1 third kitten food and 2 thirds Royal Cabin Gastro for the last 2 days and while they initially enjoyed the mix, they don't seem so keen now and we have to keep throwing away food! Do we stick at it or is there a possibility that they don't like the kitten food?

Another question!! We're now on half kitten food, half gastro and Mittens' poo has got quite soft again!Do we go back to the previous ratio or is softer poo normal while changing over, even when at this slow pace?

Thanks!! X

Poo has firmed up again thank goodness! Was thinking that we might have to use the gastro stuff forever lol!

We're still using half and half of each type of food, but tomorrow we'll be trying 3/4 kitten to 1/4 gastro and see how they go! We're hoping that they'll be on full kitten food by the middle of next week :D

They're both 16 weeks old now, and it seems that Mittens is the bigger of the 2, she's noticably heavier than Misty and taller with quite long legs. Mittens is also the most affectionate (even tho they've been treated exactly the same and equally!) Misty on the other hand is can be a little aloof but does love her snuggles when she's not playing. My husband often has snuggle time with both of them while I'm at work and then I have my time with them in the evenings, when they'll curl up on me, purring like little machines!

Question...They're both still trying to suckle our clothes! Mittens more so - Misty only does it when she sees Mittens doing it. Even tho it's cute, it can be a real pain in the middle of the night when they decide to start "suckling" on us or even on our hair!!! Will they grow out of this? Should we try and stop them? Or is it just something that will be ingrained in them now?

Thanks!

Nix
