Go to ask Ariel website. She sells stuff that helps. I have a cat with stomatitis. I give her a dropper of colloidal silver 3 times a day. I also give her colestrum probiotics and immune harmony. I switched her to rabbit grain free food. She is much much better. I will continue to do this for the rest of her life. No medicine or shots. This has really helped her. Go to askariel. Com to read info.

I'm posting a pretty long post about my experience w/ and questions about, stomatitis, in a minute, but wanted to let you know to read the first part, at least.  I've been using colloidal silver for a short time, need to do it 3x/day and cannot always corral the 4 cats to do that. I can let you know, later, the details about the CS.  I got my information about it from a page for st., will give a link to it, later, also.  Apologize for these "laters", but I've just spent a long time writing my post, and it's very, VERY late.  So, Later!

Hi, was searching internet on colloidal silver for my cat with stomatitis and found this site. Was wondering what happen to your long post? My cat has had stomatitis over 3 years. All teeth were removed and okay for 9 months but then returned. Tried steroids and a few other treatments but nothing worked that well. She needs pain meds almost daily now. Some not even working. Vet said will give her low dose of Metacam if I agree because they don't prescribe that unless there is no other option. Her tongue gets inflamed more than her gums which I don't understand because most info on stomatitis talks about inflamed gums. In 2 years been to 3 vets. 2 didn't know anything about stomatitis. 3rd one has treated some successfully, but say my cat's stomatitis is complicated/puzzling. A year ago I joined the group who use the Dallas syrup and tried some of their ideas like slippery elm, etc. but it is difficult to put things in her mouth especially 2 or 3 times a day. It was stressful just getting the tuna flavored steriod/pred in her once a day. Now she has been tapered off pred and looking for new treatment. Vet said atopica. So anyway, over the past year tried grain free food, raw, etc. Nothing has made that big of a difference except that she still is alive but struggles to eat which is sad to watch. I can't bear to put her down and out of her misery because nothing else is wrong with this cat and believe me I've spent the money on tests. Her vitals are great, so what the heck internally is causing this? So the dallas syrup is out because the vet group she goes to says it is illegal and they won't want no part of it. But the one vet there that sees her likes all the ideas I have brought to him but he's not allowed to do the syrup thing. And he is such a nice vet who gives me discounts on the pain meds and when I brought her in yesterday on a day that would have cost me triple because it was an emergency day, he charged me hardly anything. But anyways like I said the next treatment is atopica or a certain kind of laser treatment CO2 or HO something not sure, that they don't do it. But maybe Ohio State University in Columbus which is 3 hours away. But not sure about laser bacause sores are on back of her tongue not so much her gums. Sorry for long post. Just wanted info on colloidal silver or anything else anyone would like to offer. Thank you!

Hi need feed back please, my siamese has stomatitis. Has anyone ever tried royal canin canned food for allergies or any other allergy food. Just thought!   Thankyou
Hello langholm. My cat with chronic gingivostomatitis was on Purina HA hypoallergenic dry food and is now on Hills z/d wet and dry. Both worked but the soya made her constipated. She also has chronic herpes so I give her human L-lysine 250mg a day ground up in food.
