Hey guys

Can you please help me identify Sally's breed? Whether she is pure Persian or mixed or other breed? She is 5 months old.
I read online about Persian kittens and cats general traits and characters and behaviors, she does seem to fit majority of what's mentioned. Things like not highly demanding, likes to chill, has sudden crazy bursts of playing, and the pictures I added, is her sitting at her favorite place, viewing a garden, trees, birds from a large window.
Hope I have given something to help me identify her breed.

Thanks

Welcome! I am not good at guessing breeds (at all) but I think you might have a Persian mix there, she certainly is fluffy and very cute. I'm sure someone will come along and help you out with identifying her breed. I just had to comment on that cute little face, what a doll

I believe your beautiful Sally is a Nebelung.....here's the link to Animal Planet's Cat 101 video on Nebelungs--see if you agree!  Here's the link:  http://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/cats-101/videos/nebelung/
Hey
Thanks for the reply. I think Sally has lots of similarities with Nebelung, but the major and decisive factor to rule her out of Nebelung breed is the eye color (unless some how her copper eyes change to green)

The problem with Sally is that I did not get any papers with her. I'm trying to get pictures of her parents, maybe that will make identification easier.

Didn't realize Sally's eyes were copper....they looked golden yellow to me and they mentioned in the video that yellow was an acceptable color for a Nebelung's eyes....so perhaps copper may be as well.

I had a similar problem when we adopted our Gracie from a shelter.  She was identified as a silver  tabby, but after observing her for a couple months (I had had several tabbies in the past) I decided that she only superficially fit the description of a silver tabby.  As it turns out, Gracie is a silver Egyptian Mau (has all of the physical hallmarks, but is pet quality--that is, she doesn't meet the breed standards 100%...probably more like 80%).  While it was nice to know this, t it doesn't really matter to us if we have or don't have papers---we love her and are so happy she's a part of our life. Papers wouldn't have changed anything!

Enjoy your Sally---she sounds like a wonderful companion and certainly is beautiful!   All best to you both.

Hey
Yeah exactly, with papers or not, they won't change how adorable our cats are.

Thanks for your replies, best of wishes for you and Gracie

Seh is perhaps comparable to a british longhair?   The parents seems to have the same body type, so they prob arent persian mixes...

Yeah, I suspect they are supposed to be some sort of British...  Shorthair whom happened to be longhair, or produed as longhair.

She looks a lot like our cat Leila as I suspect Leila also has Persian or Nebelung in her as well

Thanks for your reply. I'm also suspecting British longhair too. I guess I have to wait a few more months until she is an adult to figure out for sure. She currently weighs 2.2 kilos at 5 months. Either way I'm in love with her.

Hey
Can you post a picture of Leila please?

I suspected Nebelung, but the eye color is not completely matching Nebelung blue coat eye color.
