...with the cats...
for snick and jasper, it's feliway -- running 24/7 for years now, and two diffusers to cover the whole house.

i don't use any scented anything really. i keep our home very clean and tidy, and litter boxes are scooped daily. no candles or incense here -- not with the cats.

i've been thinking of buying some lavender oil, which i'd use by soaking some cotton balls and placing them in a dish with a lid that has some vent holes in it. i figure there's something like that kind of dish w/lid available somewhere -- or i could simply punch some holes in the lids of some canning jars, which i already have plenty of. this will be to deter the moths that seem to get into our home.

Once in a while I may spray some Febreze when needed, but nothing beats the smell of home cooking!

I have severe asthma with chemical sensitivities so I can't use air fresheners, scented candles, incense (way too smoky), or most cleaners. I'm excited about cleaning with steam but haven't had a chance to use the steam cleaner yet.
You'll probably love it. I steam clean just about everything - floors (tile, laminate and wood) windows, the bathroom and kitchen, including cabinets the oven, litter boxes ...... :lol3:

Aromatherapy diffusers.. I'm really picky about the oils as they are so often adulterated.  I like the citrus ones (bergamot, lemon etc) when I have to get things done around the place, and the woody ones (sandalwood, frankincense etc) to relax.
