Charlie started calling dibs on his hidey holes

Charlie on the old scratching post, next to the new GIANT cat mansion haha

All 3 cats are investigating (also they're looking for the bits of dry food we placed all over the new post to get them to explore it)

They have picked out their territories. Jet all the way at the top, Charlie in the cat hammock, and Gunther by the window

Jet looks so happy and content!!! breaks my heart that I can't reach her to pet her.lol

Charlie balled up in his hammock

Day 2, exploring more of the cat mansion, you can't see Gunther but he's behind the stairs on this behemoth.

Charlie by the window

and Jet in the kitty club house (poking her cute head out)

Jet poking her head out and cooing for pets. My baby :)

These cats are so spoiled. hahah.

@Losna

This cat tower is about 73 inches high (roughly taller than 6 feet) and is very sturdy. 2 of my cats are 10 lbs and my oldest, Charlie, is 11 lbs. So when all 3 are on the  tower together (which is often) there is a total of about 31 lbs on it, and it doesn't wobble. my kitties love to jump around on it and run up and down this behemoth.

I highly recommend it for a multi cat household, or even one with just one kitty!

I bought this on Petsmarts website!

I asked my sister to get 2 stockings but she only went to one supermarket. I've since learned that track has/do them. Sigh.
I bought them a toy last week. Half an hour of playing and now it's ignored.

Half an hour play with a new toy is pretty good @Stewball  !   Quite often cats will ignore their new toy and either play with the packing or turn their nose up and head straight for their old favourite.

Half an hour and then they don't touch it any more.
All their toys are in a shoe box and they take whatre they want. Whisky will haul something out then ignore it. Blighty still plays with his sponge balls. Charles found about 5 under his bed. He hasn't brought them to bed lately. No doubt he will when I'm asleep now. Sigh

Only toy mine like to hunt for longer time is kind of fishing pole with string and something attached end of it, mostly three of mine are playing with toys, but they take turns so that my arm will get tired before they do.

One likes to also play with tinfoil balls quite long, every time I toss one he will catch it, other two are not so interested in those, but sometimes play with them too.

Shoe string is perhaps only "toy" they all have interest into, but two older boys have never really been into playing too much, most play I get out one of them is that when I pet him on my lap and then try to get him play with shoe string, he rubs his head against it first, then few times nibbles it, finally picks it up, jumps onto ground and hides with his 'prey'.

Other boy likes to play bit more, but he is so shy of quick movements that he is too afraid to play most of the time, there has been little progress lately and he has tested a bit of playing and learning how it is actually quite fun, it has been only about 4 years of daily playing sessions, so maybe during next year he starts playing too.

Mostly with two older boys issue is that smaller three are so quick that they scare those two, so it is quite hard to get them to play when three Tasmanian devils escaped from Looney Tunes roam over everything and everyone to hunt that toy.

My cats also seem to have incredible ability to make toys disappear, one day I made five more tinfoil balls to them, then I got outdoors and got bit of firewood and came in, I was not able to see any trace of those tinfoil balls, but bit later there was again three balls on floor.

I'm sure there must be huge collection of their toys someplace, which I have not yet found. They seem to know where it is as they sometimes have toys that I have not seen for months, but despite during cleanup day I find many under the sofa and behind the bookshelf, there still is some unknown place.

If I find their toy hideout, I could give them plenty of 'new' toys for several Christmas, but then again I kind of like making new toys for them, I don't really buy them anymore as self made ones seem to be more interesting for them as well as not so easily destroyed, few of mine do really great job of destroying things, most bought toys with string have lasted about 3 attacks.

It isn't a big cat condo or anything but this is Mouse having fun with a woollen pom pom he was sent for his Christmas.  He got 3 and at the moment I can only tell you where1 of them is.  View media item 251543

Mouse loves to play with shoe laces, but he does only get to do this supervised which I'm guessing is what JTbo is doing too.

Yeah, that is how it goes, but also I have not seen any interest by them to actually attempt to eat such, they just claw it and sometimes pick up and run around while other ones try to grab shoe lace from one running with it.

I have had more trouble with windows, there is sealant next to window screen and frame, something of that attracts them and they pull that sealant out, then it is like long mice tail and they try to eat it, I have had to take out that from little girl's mouth once and now those are taped, not sure if that will hold them off from the stuff, but can't figure out better way to keep them off from it.

Even birds pull that sealant out from outdoor side of windows, can't really tell what in that is so interesting.

I guess I could leave shoe lace for them, but just to be sure I collect it away from them after playing.

So love all the pics! Especially....................

To be honest, Maia ended up loving the stocking all her toys were stuffed in more then any of the toys!

It was embarrassing
...................so I ended up giving a lot of the toys to my friend Erics kitties and  they actually went nuts over them! Maia kept the stocking and a few select toys.

We had a stressful Christmas, old roommate moved out Christmas day and new roommate moved in new years eve day....................

That does sound stressful. :lol3::lol3::lol3: that Maia liked the stocking more than the contents. Typical cat!

That's always been the favorite sleeping place around here. Guests have wondered why there's a fleecy blanket at the foot of our bed in summer.

I never thought to offer a marshmallow. Jamie always liked the styrofoam peanuts used for packing breakables, but Mogli gives them a swat and walks off.

All my cats have slept between my legs and there's a fleece at the bottom of my bed.
Don't you get sugar all over the floor/carpet with the marshmallow?

The kitties got freeze dried chicken, gingerbread catnip fish stuffed toys, balls, and catnip crunchy treats. The children were as excited to give our cats their stocking stuffers as they were to get their own! Adorable.
