Normally, I take cats/kittens in at the drop of a hat, but this time I didn't adopt this furbaby, it adopted me! I was coming in from getting groceries and all of a sudden a streak comes thought my legs and disappears around the corner. At first I assumed it was my female feral, Andromeda, but as I sat on the couch to take my shoe shoes of, this little guy/girl (I'm thinking maybe a girl because of the Calico parts) popped into my lap and made themselves at home!! I'd have never believed it if it hadn't happened to me! I am unsure if it is a male or female but it appears to be roughly 6 months old in good over all health as far as I can tell. No fleas, injuries or oddities except for the coat! I have NEVER in my 21 years seen a cat like this!! These photos were taken within 5 mins of him running into my house (Its now been roughly an hour), I'm almost 100% positive he was a housepet at one point. I live on a military base and several of my neighbors have moved the past week and a half, I believe he may have been left behind. But the coat puzzles me, it appears to be a hodgepodge of Calico, Tortoiseshell, Tabby and Orange Tabby!

What do you think? Girl or boy?

Weeell, if she's female, she could be in heat. Sure does make the girls less inhibited, in my experience.

I don't believe she's (it?)  in heat, she's very cuddly but she's not presenting herself or making a racket and my male has ZERO interest in her apart from a sideways glance.

Ah, well that's great. Sorry, she. Long day my way.
My cat adopted me, too, or at least my fridge lol. Some things are meant to be!!

There might be a better explanation than this, but, to me it looks like you possibly have a chimera on your hands. (A genetic chimera, not a mythological one.)

I would say it's a female cat with a nice torbie patterned coat. :)
