Those sugar flowers are beautiful!

My foot doesn't hurt. I walked all week for exercise, walked throughout the weekend, walked throughout the yard and worked in the garden. Nothing. The lump is still there, but that's nothing. The main thing is no pain.
  Great news!

I love the sugar flowers too!!

I am waiting at the hairdressers to get my hair coloured. Yay! I've also lost some weight so that's another positive. Weight loss plus new hair do = a good day I thinks!!!

Unexpected presents are always fun!

When I visited my brother yesterday he seemed to be doing a bit better. :)

I just won tickets to take Aimee to see The Wiggles on Sunday morning.
I wanted to take her, but the tickets were so expensive. I also won a bottle starter set yesterday for baby. Now I just need to win the lottery.

They say good things come in 3s (just like bad ones) so best get that lottery ticket quick!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm feeling a bit bah humbug-like and think maybe it is time to resurrect this thread.

I finished decorating the house for Christmas yesterday and I'm happy about that. :)

Karen, I thought it was just me. Some days it feels like all I can do to get through the day, let alone decorate for Christmas. Usually I'm bouncing off the walls by now. This year, not so much.

Rick got our new tree put together this afternoon and it looks very nice. It's not decorated yet; we'll do that Sunday night.

We finally got the tree up last weekend.  My husband says he dreads having to take it down - so much work!

But after years of completely covering the house with decorations, inside and out, I decided to just enjoy the holiday.  Peace on Earth and all that -  I wasn't finding much peace running around like a lunatic and working into late January to stash it all away again!

Big fan of the minimalist approach and your tree looks pretty perfect to me.
Your January '15 looks like it's going to be a very relaxing one.

Today I got up 9-30 am (which is early for me these days)  and got right in to 'sorting.  I managed to fill a carrier bag with books, and another stuffed full of clothes and took them down to the charity store I volunteer in on a Sunday.  I reckon this cleared a big drawer full of stuff out of my little apartment which has to be good.

Forest, the abandoned Doll Faced Persian cat I found a few months ago, slept on the bed for the first time last night. And he's still there now, curled up with a few of the others.

I caught Ole playing with a tennis ball.  I just brought him into my household a month ago from my mother's and he's had a lot of adjusting to do.  Including having 5 other cats sharing his space.  Oh my goodness.  Yeah, a lot of adjusting on his part.  And he's no youngster either.

I let Marianne Faithfull out of her cage this morning and into the general population and she`s doing awesome! She`s been hanging around with Dusty Springfield at the foot of my bed!

Wow, your cats have amazing  names!

My parents have a cat called Dusty, not sure if she's named after Ms Springfield or not.
