Crumb coated chicken breast, red cabbage and mashed potato.    It sounds healthy but I'm about to tuck in to an apple and blackberry crumble.

I hope you're all ready for this.

I was at work tonight as we all had to taste our new Christmas menu....

Assorted canope and starters of goats cheese mini muffins, tomato and basil crostini. goats cheese and cranberry tart, min quiche lorraine, bacon and tomato tortilla, little macaroni cheese bites, stilton and fig en croute, and salmon and dill filo pastry...

Mains assorted portions of turkey and stuffing, corn fed chicken with stuffing, goats cheese and mushroom en croute, and wildboar pie, with carrots, parsnips, sprouts with chestnuts, roast potato, cranberry sauce and gravy as the sides....

Followed by chocolate bomb, Florentine tart, passionfruit tart, mulled wine poached pear tart, and a berry topped berry mouse with cassis enfused sponge base, and  I could have had a sliver of chocolate and almond torte too but as I'd already eaten that I decided I could miss that one out.

Man am I full, I feel like I've just eaten a very full Christmas dinner and then some.
My waist looks like it's expanded about 6" in the last couple of hours!

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Miracle Noodles rice with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and a turkey Italian sausage..made kind of a thick stew with it all.  There is bright sunshine here but high winds (and a warning for it to really get rocking), and it's cold.

Made chocolate crinkle cookies - used recipe in the latest of Cook's magazine. Sooo good - goes into my top 5 recipes.

Also made hubby sweet and sour chicken and fried rice.

I had chicken soup - which I use ground chicken, loads of carrots and spinach and quinoa and add hot pepper flakes to the broth.

Corned beef hash. Yummy.
Mrs B. Is that your baby boy? How did I miss this? He is every bit as gorgeous as I thought he would be. Congratulations. I hope the whole family are doing well. Bless you.
And sorry everyone for the high jack of this thread.

The last thing I ate was dinner. A small fillet steak with a warm salad of sauteed asparagus, mushrooms, garlic, baby kale, cherry tomatoes and avocado with a balsamic dressing.

One of my co-workers brought in peanut butter fudge this morning. Brought it right into my office for me to "test" it for him. It took three  pieces before I could tell him how decadently delicious it was.

(And then I asked him to make some chocolate fudge. I do not make fudge; it never comes out right.)

The last thing I ate was 2 pieces of bologna. I'm currently making tater tots and will make a hot dog to go with it. I'm waiting for Aimee to get home, she went to an indoor play ground with my friend and her daughter this morning.

Oh boy, how like Aimee is Hudson?!!!
And cute autumn outfit there too.

@Winchester  I never make fudge as it would never make it to the cold cutting stage....

Last thing I had this evening was a large slice of rich fruit cake.

That sounds amazing. I love fudge but I've never tried making it myself.

Thank you. Yes, that is Hudson. That is from his newborn photo shoot when he was 9 days old. He's over a month old now. Here's a recent picture from Monday when he turned a month old.

:lol3: Thanks for the pic. I love his name. He's gorgeous and I agree he's like Aimee. Both so cute.

My lunch has been the same for a week or do now. I love it so I'll keep going until I get sick of it. Chicken breast, quinoa, roasted sweet potato, baby spinach leaves, snow peas and an orange and Dijon dressing.
