As if it isnt hard enough coping with the diagnosis of chylothorax we have a follow up appt and have to fast Minnie for 9 hours. Unfortunately our 2 kitties got on some crazy eat every 6 hours schedule with their wet food. I snuck Mikki in a room to feed her but Minnie is just staring at me, awaiting the "let's eat" signal. Feel so bad esp doing this then in a few hours stressing her with the vet trip. Not sure if I should just leave the house or what.. so upsetting... as she chirps at me.

Aww, poor baby. It's always hard to fast animals since you can't explain why they can't eat. I'm surprised the vet appointment was not first thing in the morning which is the usual case when fasting is involved. Lots of
 for Minnie.

thank you. Not crazy about the vet place I'm using.. but its an emergency facility and has ultrasound and 24/7 care if needed with all the specialized docs there so feel obligated to go there... plus its only about 2 miles so helps with the stress of the car ride too.
