Adopted this 4 month old kitten from the same rescue as Oliver this past Sunday. Tried the slow introduction, but accidental interaction via speedy cat jetting through door caused some issue. He's adorable. He kneads and does the head-butting thing and the walk around and between our legs as a greeting, none of which Oliver does, but he's rowdy. Normal kitten stuff. Jumping on everything. I'm sort of impressed with the height he manages on his jumps, but I can basically have no decorations on shelves or the walls. So that's unfortunate.

I moved three weeks ago and still have no internet at my place because "Thanks, AT&T, for your exceptional service and consideration for customers and their needs." My apartment complex is massive (over 700 units), and there are more AT&T tech vans than pizza delivery vehicles. Yet, I've had to wait over two weeks to get someone to come flip a switch for my SELF-INSTALL. This despite repeated called and twice being misinformed about an earlier install date. If it doesn't work tonight, I'm switching to TWC, even though I feel like that's going back to an abusive ex.

But I digress. Isn't Ender pretty? Gosh. Too cute.

Oliver and Ender are best buds now. Although the slow introduction was interrupted, after a few days of supervised brawling, they only playfully scrap these days. They eat and nap together and play lots. Now that Oliver doesn't spend most of the day sleeping and instead spends most of his day running around, he's losing weight. I'm taking him to the vet in a couple of weeks for his annual, but I think he's still a good weight. His ever-expanding pouch makes him look much bigger than he is.

Oh, and Ender makes this chirrup noise that sounds sort of like a pigeon. So we call him Ender Pigeon, which sounds a lot like Ender Wiggin. How cute!

On the Internet issue, I switched to TWC. AT&T couldn't get it together after 3 weeks. That was too much. It took TWC 12 hours.

Hi!

Ender is a beautiful kitten. Congratulations on adopting him. I hope he and Oliver get along. However, I understand that kitties can become best friends or just tolerate each other. I guess time and patience will decide. Good luck with your new baby!

Congratulations on your new fur-boy.

Lovely to hear Oliver and Ender are already at the 'playful scrap' stage and hope this relationship continues to grow in a fun companionship way.

Now you've got your internet battle is sorted (by jumping ship) I hope we will see loads more photos and stories and photos of this pair as they work out a rota for who get to run your new home.
