Hello, my name is Naomi. I have a one year old tortie sphinx cat named Frida and will soon be getting a flame point Cornish Rex kitten named Rupert. Frida is my little adventurer. She is super curious and into everything. She loves to eat and her fav food is chicken. She is the cuddliest cat I have ever had, she would gladly snuggle half the day away with me, but she is also full of energy. Rupert is just about 7 weeks old and will be able to come home in a few weeks. I can hardly wait!
Please tell me about your kitties too!

Hi Naomi, from sunny Ontario!

A Cornish Rex, how exciting! l have one too named Bretten, and he's one wild dude. The Sphynx - Cornish Rex combination should be a good one, they should really enjoy each other. Mine has a Siamese buddy and they are very well matched, and have a close relationship.

l'd love to see pictures of them.

And, since you joined TCS between June 25th and August 31st, you're eligible for our contest!

oh Canada~
Welcome! Mo, our orange tabby and Kismet, our smoke tabby are over in Ontario as well. They like to whap each other and chase, but they're not really buddy-buddy, like snuggling. Mo is super social and a suck for attention from anything and anyone (right up to marking and licking wood desks and plastic hampers..), and Kismet is the polar opposite, being very shy and showing her affection by walking by and letting her tail graze the back of your leg.

Look forward to seeing you around!

Hi, welcome to TCS!  It's lovely to meet you.  We have a crew of four DSH cats.  Daisy, pictured in my avatar was a rescue from the animal shelter.  She turned up as a stray at the business next door to my husband's and the owner called animal control.  We felt sorry for her; she would not have been considered as adoptable because she was scared and aggressive.  She is my good girl and we are very blessed to have her.  I adopted Speck as a kitten from the animal shelter shortly after the loss of our beloved Redman.  Daisy and Speck are indoor cats, though Speck goes out most every day with close supervision. Our other two cats, Rue and Blackberry, were abandoned by the neighbor's when they moved. They are indoor/outdoor cats, though my husband would prefer they stay in always, they will not hear of that.

Please feel free to post pictures of your crew.  We love pictures here!

Here is Frida out with my sisters rag doll Watson. They visit often. As you can see Frida also goes on supervised outings, but only in the summer as she doesn't like the cold.
this is the latest pic my breeder has sent of Rupert. He is now 7 weeks old and will come home in about 3 weeks! I hope he and Frida will have the cuddling and cleaning each other sort of relationship.

Awww, how cute!!

l love the Frida's mottled skin, l'd never seen a tortie sphynx before.

Rupert is adorable. Little Mr. Crinkly Whiskers. He reminds me of mine when he was little, before he got his curls, except mine is chocolate.

l hope they have the cuddling/cleaning relationship too, it's very nice to see. These two of mine have the closest relationship l've ever seen in two cats.

l also have a third, but he's excluded from their snuggling

Sphynx can be any colour or pattern! Originally I wanted a tuxedo patterned one, but I fell in love with her when I met her. The breeder had initially intended to keep her for breeding/show but then curious girl she is got the end of her tail caught in something and got a kink which disqualifies her from shows. And that is what makes her special and the reason she is mine!

I love Siamese! They are cute because they are always up in your business! At least I think it is cute.

Too correct...  They are ALWAYS in my business!  Lucky will come and greet me in the middle of the night when I get up for a trip to the restroom.  He never fails!

lol I also have a nosey Parker. I think Frida believes that the bathroom is her property. She always has to know what is going on it there. Even when I have guests she will sit outside the door and watch suspiciously until they come out. When I am in there she is on my shoulder or sitting between the clear and fabric shower curtains while I'm in the shower!

My siamese-mix always has a paw and nose in everything I do.  She is a silent cat, only meows when she really likes the food I´m preparing or when she feels that I don´t give her attention enough.... Bur, I´m never lonely at home
. She is my "tornado" at home..... never a dull moment!

I'm never lonely at home either. Frida is always up to something funny or she is snuggled in my lap.
