@peaches08, Oliver also eats raw with lots of water. And he has a water dish that he drinks from periodically as well. There's nothing gumball-sized, more like avocado-sized, about his pee clumps. I didn't notice any odor until this litter.

I was thinking you fed raw or used to, but I couldn't remember for sure.  That's crazy about the ammonia smell.

@Lauralove I haven't noticed a "pee smell" but imho it doesn't cover the smell of feces as well as other litters.

@oceanbreathes Yes the litter I'm talking about has blue specs in it. I bought 2 bags initially and both were the exact type shown in the link @peaches08 posted. One bad es blue speckled and the other was light/ multicolored. The cats really liked the multicolored and they avoid the box with the blue specs. Neither are scented. They just smell like dirt/clay.

When I bought my 3rd bag (also blue) I looked in the container of one of the 14# "jugs". It was the light speckled stuff. It costs a little more in the 14# size, so maybe they are getting cheap, or maybe they're changing the formula and they haven't sold out of the small containers yet. IDK...

bigperm20 which chicken crumble brand do you use? I would like to try something more natural like that. How dusty is it? We used to use WBC but the dustiness and poor clumping was not worth the price. Now using Precious Cat but the quality had gone down as it now sticks to the litter box and gets stinky fast.
