I just gave a sigh of relief upon seeing these photos. I can only imagine, then, how happy you must be. The transition to the farm really couldn't have gone any better. I look back to the beginning of your thread and am overjoyed at how things have worked out to now. Just wonderful. :heart3: They really look fantastic, healthy, happy and well settled in at the farm. Look at Cynthia resting on the rock hill sunning herself. I couldn't be more glad for you, hun. I DO hope you get those days off for a visit. I am sure they will be happy to see you too. Keep those updates coming whenever you can.:clap: :wavey:

Hi everyone,

I have finally seen my babies, and spent good hours with them.

Cynthia has a strong diarrhea that she car not fully control. She got so worried, and the allergy is back with Qays. Gebran seems Ok.

I took them to the vet today. He gave Qays a shot for his allergy, and gave all of them deworming shots, and anti fleas gel on the neck. He prescribed "Flagyl" twice a day for 5 days for Cynthia, though she hates the pill.

Besides that, they seem happy up there in the farm. I brought them home for a break because the to the vet was a long one and they were yawning like crazy - very unusual - so we came home....they slept ALL THE TIME. They did not really play, they just had loads of food, and water, pooed, then slept for the rest of the time.

I took them back, they were happy to go back, and they seemed like they wanted to show me the whole place.... and when i left , they went to the car... and when the car left, they were running behind the car.... it was so heartbreaking I felt I was suffocating.  So unfair :(

I will start a side thread to get some advice on qays's granuloma.

Will try to upload photos tomorrow.

:eek:hno: I feel so very, very sad to hear this and of course you must have been beside yourself with sadness to leave them again and see them following you in the car. :bawling: :alright: :hugs: I know this is hard for you, sweetie, but they will be alright. You really have no other choice right now and at least they are all safe, staying close on the farm, know their territory now and seem happy there.

I am sorry about Cynthia's diarrhea. Yes, the metronidazole is very, very bitter. The best and only way I found to give it is to gently use a pill shooter to get it past the tongue. I hope that Cynthia will be able to receive the medication after you brought them back to the farm by the nice lady caring for them. :cross: I am also sending vibes for Qays allergies and that granuloma. I hope you can get some good advice in your new thread. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Please take care of yourself too, you are doing so much for all of your recent rescues too. Must be exhausted. Try not to worry about your three on the farm. They will be just fine. I still think of them and send a constant stream of vibes their way. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

@Feralvr   Thanks a lot for checking.   Cynthia did get her medication as i confirmed today, but Qays's allergy is still unresolved. The images I am seeing in my online research are horrifying I cannot stand to even think of something like that on my Qays.

Switching to the brighter side, here are some photos from the barn

This is the room where they stay at night, and next to it there is a room FULL of straws where they sometime sneak and sleep.

I have an extremely soft spot for your three babies. They are really darling and I think it is pretty darn cool that they are hanging together at the new place and sticking together. That is the best news of all. Things do work out, do they not??!! Your doing such wonderful things for so many needy kitties right now too. These three will be just fine for the time being and who knows what the future will be for all of you. For now, they are settled and very, very happy.

SO glad to know that you received excellent advice from our TCS gang for dear Qay's. Lots of great and knowledgeable members and this is the place to come to for help, for sure !!!!!!!! :bigthumb:

I'm SOOOOO happy to see those great photos! The three furry babies couldn't look happier! I know how hard it still must be to think about not having them with you (I cried when I read they followed your car) ---but look at it this way - they love you and wish you could be with them, but they're certainly VERY happy in their new playground! THey look like they're having the time of their lives - even a place to go at night! I'm SOOOO happy for you!

Hey everyone, So I confirmed with the vet.  Qays will need to go on a raw food and/or hypoallergenic diet (probably for life), and for the short term he will need to be on Pred, 3 pills a day.

Meaning, Qays needs to find a home.

Cynthia is having recurring diarrhea so I guess for her too it is probably better to go to indoor.

Ideally - I will be looking to rehome them with families who have pets already, and who have a sort of controlled outdoor space.

I will start a facebook page for them, and I will be willing to fly them anywhere their forever home might be.

I know it is very beautiful where they are, and they are happy.  But I think this place can only be temporary, health wise....

:(

Just remind yourself -- - they are HAPPY! Even if it means a few itches, icky diarrhea - obviously nothing to avoid and needs taking care of - as you are- but think about what happens to 99% of cats in their position? Street or shelter. And instead they're insanely HAPPY! You done good girl! And you continue to good!!!! If you need any help with setting something up = you know I'm already in love with your case, and can create whatever you want to help market them. (well - not this week I have to say - beyond busy - woprking till 1 & 2 am - ice).....but if it would help for me to step again again and design something - I certianly will!!!!!! Just let me know!!!! And in the meantime - perhaps all this veterinary help will make them feel 100% better in the end....they are SOOOO happy threre and together!

Seriously - one of the happiest ends (well  not end.....continuation) of a story......just love updates from you!

And don't hesitate to ask for advertising help!!!
