Hi. I am new to the forum. I have 3 cats. All three have birthdays this month.
Hermes is orange and white and has so much personality. He loves to have his butt smacked and will roll around and scream until you do. Such a weird boy. He got his name from the Greek messenger god as he has always got something he needs to tell us.
Pips is black and came to my work in a feral trap at 6 weeks old, completely wild without back paws, he has nubs but no feet. Xrays lead us to believe that he was born that way because of how deformed the bone is. He got his name from the black dots on dice. They are called pips. He was very lucky he came to me as he would not have survived outside but I didn't want to name him lucky and gambling is all about luck so he became Pips.
And then there is Kreature. She is a tortie. She was found by her momma on the side of the road at a week old. She came to me at 2 weeks old when the woman whom had her wasn't feeding her enough and was worried by her decline in health. She got the name because she didn't even look like a cat with her big bulgy eyes and wormy belly. My husband was like "that's some other kind of creature not a cat" lol. So it stuck.
