Let me introduce you to my cat, his name is splodge.... Not on purpose it kind of stuck from him being born. He is all white with one blue eye and one yellow, he is huge not weight wise height and length wise, when stretched out he can reach on top of worktops easily, he is the weirdest cat ever he follows me and my partner everywhere and i mean everywhere he even jumps in the car when we want to go out one day i expect to get to work and find him there. He walks beside me when i go to the shop waits outside and then walks back with me. He constantly talks to me and makes noises. When i go to bed he wont settle until i put my arm out and then he cuddles up to me with his head on my arm then he purrs until i spoon and cuddle him tight with the blanket over us. If i turn over during the night he will turn over and put his arm on my head or neck as if cuddling me, i can do what ever i want with him he doesn't mind being touched anywhere or being held anyway i regularly try and annoy him away from me as it gets a bit much sometimes like I'll hold him above my head with two hands one in his armpits and one on his belly as close to the back legs as possible i then pretend he is a accordion but he'll just go floppy and fall asleep i can pull his whiskers, bit my hands in his mouth, hold his tail stick my fingers in his pads hold him upside down poke the hairs in his ears pick his bogeys.... Anything there is nothing he wont let me do. He is also a bit of a tart with visitors and will be all over them or he will steal from their handbag and run off. I'm pretty sure he is part dog. He is very active and playful and loves to hunt... Has anyone else got a cat like this one. Physically he is great, im a bit worried that mentally he isn't, but he doesn't seem to have issues when we are not in. Although recently despite being castrated as a kitten he has started spraying EVERYWHERE nothing has changed it the house and he is 5 years old

Have you taken him to the vet recently to rule out a medical problem? Also, I am wondering if all the things you describe doing to him are starting to stress him out.

It would be a good idea to take him to the vet to see if there is something medical causing him to pee like that.  Rule out a health issue before tackling it from a behavioral standpoint.  Either way; you will need to be sure you clean wherever he has gone with a good enzyme cleaner so he won't go back to those spots.  They can smell what we can't and it can become a real problem.

As far as his super laid back behavior; I'm not sure.  I had one very laid back cat as a kid.  Not THAT laid back though.  My Mom has one that snuggles in her armpit all night if she'll let him.  He was bruising her from kneading the same spot so much!  In his case; he was a preemie and very tiny when he came to her.  He was under 1 lb and used to be carried around in the shelter worker's pocket to keep him warm.  And my step-sister's sweatshirt pocket after he came home. I think that all is what is behind his personality.

Lol i don't do those things very often so I'm pretty sure its not stressing him out most of the time I'll just keep placing him back on the floor and try to interest him in something else like a toy he enjoys chasing those rubber bouncy balls or a laser light, is there any cleaner you can recommend we normally just disinfectant the area as soon as possible, we have 3 other cats but one is 17 years old, then we have splodge and mowgli they are from the same litter and are 5 years old and Reggie is from the same mum but a few months younger

I've had good luck with Nature's Miracle but you really have to saturate the area.  I believe Nok-Out is one other I've heard mentioned around here; but any enzyme cleaner should do the trick.  I think the key is finding all the spots and thoroughly cleaning.  Just be sure not to use anything with bleach because any ammonia scent will attract them.  You could use a black light also to help you find the spots he has gone.

My cat Albert is EXACTLY the same. Everything you wrote just described my cat as well, He is only 1 but he is soooo clingy and he is one of four cats but they are all 'real' cats, have attitude and pretend they don't need you but he is the odd one out, he wants cuddles all the time, when i get home and put my head down to say hello he will jump up and head but me and purr like crazy, he lets me tickle his toes for gods sake and he likes it!!! No cat lets you tickle their toes lol! I am trying very hard to wean him off of me and my partner but he just seems to love people more than other cats

he is so cute and very loving he has his good days and bad days with the other cats, one day he will be cuddling them, washing them and playing happily, the next he will be hissing and swiping them, i think they make him jump though we're not sure if his vision is impaired as he has different coloured eyes, he sometimes has an issue with knowing how close things are and will jump from different surfaces and miss or sit there waving his arm about trying to see if he can reach the next surface. not all the time though which is why we aren't sure.

Albert does that too, he is terrible with his balance and doesn't enjoy climbing, it seems to stress him. He almost always misses his jumps, he often falls, looks terribly embarrassed and then walks away as if nothing happened but he doesn't have different coloured eyes and his vet gave him a clean bill of health only a month ago. My conclusion is that they just love their people a lot and through this love have lost their cat powers lol I do love him being affectionate but sometimes it is a bit much...
The photo is our pillow, this is how we must sleep each night, he covers half of it and must be resting his head on my arm. If i move he will crawl over the top of me till he is in my arm again. In Summer it is the WORST.

When you tickle his toes, does he spread them waaaayy out? Julie is my clingy cat. She follows me everywhere I go, indoors. If I am at the computer, she is either between me and the keyboard or sitting on the back of the computer chair. If I lay down, she has to snuggle on top of my left arm of lay on top of me. If I make kissy noises at her, she will pat my cheek and say 'mee, yeaaaah'. I have decided that there is no way to relieve this, so I just put up with it. After all, she did lose both of her sisters two years ago, two months apart, and her mom and dad were (I suspect) killed by the neighbor's little sociopath kids. So, if she needs the contact, she can have it. If only she wasn't so hot during the summer.

The 'sleeping penguin impression' picture is priceless. I assume he was grooming himself. Wouldn't it be nice to have a spine that flexible? i see Sugar sleeping with her front legs pointed in one direction and her back legs pointed in the opposite direction. Your Splodge is such a beautiful cat. Odd-eye whites are not common where I live.

He spreads them apart as if it tickles but he likes it and then he purrs! If i do kissy noises at me he will do that very slow blink and then jump up and head butt my head. He is such a clingy boy but not with ANYONE else. I am hiss possession i suppose lol. He is on the back of my chair right now and he will stay there till i get up.
