Try not let her ate more afterbirths/mothercakes now,  more than 4 may be not so good. (some danger for diarrhea).

*vibes*

Miss Chloe is doing a wonderful job. She has 6 kittens (so far). 2 white, 2 black and one orange tabby and one calico. She hasnt shown any signs of distress or weakness. placentas have followed each birth. i cant feel anymore kittens, but i may be wrong. first kitten came at 6:30am. last one came at 10:00am. she had them very rapidly. all kittens are meowing and trying to nurse. all can open their mouths. it looks like her babies have 4 different fathers. will post more when she is done!

it looks like her babies have 4 different fathers.

May be so, but not necessary at all...  there may be different colour genes in different cells...

Happy to hear everything.  Holding thumbs!   *vibes*

Well, good and bad news. the orange kitten has a deformed foot, BUT already has a home promised to it!!!! So, my biggest worry is gone. :)

Is it a severe deformity or slight? Glad he has  a forever home though :)

slight. its a bit turned in. I'm going to see if theres home remedies to straighten it out. I can straighten it by hand, but once i let go, it curls up.

Do such gymnastics now and then, gentle and carefully of course.

My son had a somewhat twisted foot, he did grown out of it. Possibly because we often worked with this foot of his.

With kittens there they have sometimes a condition called twisted feet.  They do look horrible, twisted as the name says... "worse than professional beggars!"

Yet, usually they do grown out of it till it is time for them to go to their foreverh homes.

I suppose the breeders do lotsa of correction gymnastics with them.

*vibes*

PS.  Do consult your vet of course, to be safe.  The vet will prob also have good tips how to do it.

Although I think and believe this is the way to go, with gentle but consistent gymnastics, gently flexing this poor foot..

waiting on callback from vet. we may figure out a therapy plan. what he has may just fix itself when he begins walking.

Perhaps water it down slightly and give a small saucer morning and night til it's gone. It may be a bit rich straight up.
