DH and I just bought our house a few days ago - the backyard is decent enough. We have stockade fencing on the back, one side, and half of the other side (we need to finish out the other half). With the way the backyard is set up we want to make half of the yard for the cats - the other half has the back driveway, gate (that frequently opens), and the door to our garage facing it. Obviously we don't want them anywhere near this part as there are too many hazards.
The plan - Purrfect Fence around the border of the driveway, finish lattice work around the other half of the deck and add a door - making the large covered deck cat friendly, and for the stockade fences - hogwire around the upper parts of the fence.
Is Purrfect Fence sturdy? How's it hold up to weed eating around it? Worth the cost? Would it just be easier and cheaper to use hogwire on the section by the driveway instead? That section would need a gate to get the lawnmower in - Are the purrfent fence gates decent?
