I guess my answer would be "cats have been in my life forever". Can't actually remember how old I was, but for as long as I can remember cats have always been a massive part of my life :)
I've been asked today if I would mind hand rearing a kitten as the mums not very well and can't do so herself. I have never done this before but it's something I would like to do, I only have a vague idea what to do so if anyone can offer me any advice that would be great?
What basic stuff is...
I think in these situations you just have to keep a close eye on them, never did I think her on and off limping would be down to something she was born with! I originally thought she'd pulled a muscle when I first took her to the vets
Thank you, yes RidgeStop is what Lilly had done, she has her off days here and there and she always sits with that leg hanging down now, the vet said this is normal. She may need the same doing on the other leg in the future bless her.
Thank you for the reply. I take it the procedure wasn't RidgeStop as i hear that's a pretty new way the vets offer now? I did do a quick search like you said, but was just wondering if anyone else's cat has had the same procedure as my Lilly :)
As few of you may know, my youngest Lilly has this condition and has recently had her back left leg operated on. The surgery she had was RidgeStop. I am just wondering if anyone else has or ever had a cat with this condition? Would be nice to talk to someone who's cat had the same procedure done.
