First, forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong place. I'm not sure where it should go.
I am old and because of my health, my brother wants me to move in with him. I have no choice....but I have 3 cats and he won't let them come with me..
I have no friends and he is the only family I have...
I've noticed one of the ferals I feed has a little bit of a runny nose. She doesn't seem sick...healthy appetite. Is there anything I can buy to sprinkle on her food that might help with a little cold?
Please don't suggest trying to catch her and take her to a vet.
I hope I'm just jumping the gun here.
I've had two girl cats (both spayed) for about 6 years...they're both 7 years old. They aren't real lovey dovey with each other, but they get along fine. One seems to try...but the other one is one of those aloof cats...even I can only pick her up...
One of the ferals I feed daily has some discharge from his eyes. I would like to help him, but getting him to a vet is not an option. He comes here everyday for food, but I can't even get close to him! People have told me to call my vet, but he won't help me unless I bring the cat to him.
Is...
I'm not sure exactly where to post this question....so excuse me if this is the wrong forum! None of them quite fit what I want to know!
I recently read an article about certain ingredients in body lotions used by humans that can be dangerous to cats. I saved it...but can't find it!
As soon...
My black and white kitty has what looks like dandruff on her black fur. They're not mites (I've checked!). She doesn't seem to be itchy, and it doesn't look like she has dry skin, but I'm guessing she does. What can I do?
One of my kitties was born feral, and even though she is in my house 95% of the time, she still likes to go out occasionally. I don't want her to go out...but there's hell to pay if I don't let her! LOL She usually only goes out for a few minutes, and only in my yard...but with cats, you never...
My ferals have a house on my porch (out of the elements)...lots of blankets in there; but it makes me laugh and feel sad at the same time...they seem to prefer the open tub ( again, lots of blankets) that I also have on my porch.
I'm thinking of getting a few of those self-warming pads to put...
I am elderly. I might have to give up my cats due to health issues. That scares me to death. I have no family that would be willing to take them...no close friends. WHAT DO I DO!?!
My one girl I rescued when her previous owners moved away and left her. By her physical appearance and the way she...
My kitty Princess NEVER goes outside. Someone ( who thinks she's a cat expert!) told me that I should take her outside once in awhile...let her sniff around...learn how the house and yard smell, so that if she ever does escape, she can find her way home again. Is that true? Never heard that before!
I do let her go when I feel her get tense. I would never restrain her.
But my other cat is so lovey...constantly on my lap. I did not want this kitty to feel unloved! But you're right...a personality trait!
