Cat constipated, showing no other symptoms

I feel a lot more relaxed now. As stated in the opening post, his other behavior is the best it's been in a long time. I do notice this began when he started the new food. He likes said food though and it's good for his condition. I just hope it isn't having too many GI effects on him.

Cat constipated, showing no other symptoms

He just went, without any noticeable pain. Does this movement look concerning or not?

Cat constipated, showing no other symptoms

He typically has gone once a day. I will add he recently switched from dry food to wet canned food. Both types of food are designated to help cats who have urinary issues. He began this kind of diet early this year when he had urinary crystals.

Cat constipated, showing no other symptoms

My 4 year old FIV+ cat. Lee-Lee, has been constipated the last two days, but has not shown any other symptoms at all. Lee-Lee's appetite is still good, its best in a long time in fact, following the removal of several bad teeth last month, his energy level too is the best it has been in a long...

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

The vets I spoke to said his arrhythmia wasn't serious, and his lungs sounded good, and that they will use a different cocktail of medications for his next appointment, however, Lee-Lee still has fast breathing that is noisy sometimes. I am not sure what to think.

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

The higher number was when he was awake, sitting beside me, but not asleep.

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

I will try and hope for something. Lee Lee tonight is very playful. I counted about 46 breaths a minute when he was active, and 27 when he was asleep.

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

He had the arrhythmia during the procedure, which is why it ended early. They didn't do any further testing, unfortunately.

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

The vet who did the operation only comes in twice a month. I could talk to the others, but they kept implying my questions are best suited to the vet who did the surgery.

Mod Note: Threads merged. .............................................................................. My 4 year old cat is supposed to have four more teeth removed next week, to finish his extractions, however, he had an arrhythmia last week when he was under and is breathing fast lately...

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

My cat does seem to breath quite fast when awake, which is likely related to whatever this heart issue is. I am wary of putting him under again, especially since the worst teeth were removed and his mouth already looks much better. Little to no redness at all in it currently, and his energy...

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

It was a cleaning + extraction, but it does seem suspiciously long. The guy thinks it will take the same time to remove the other teeth too

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

I do think the duration of the surgery was an issue. He was neutured in May and had no negative effects at all, but that is a much shorter process.

Cat's extractions stopped early because of arrhythmia.

I will ask. Would you in my situation take my cat back again to have those other teeth removed in two weeks? After yesterday, I am afraid to. The remaining teeth are inflamed, but nothing to to the degree of the removed ones. One of the removed ones was starting to cause an abscess.
