I'm so, so sorry about Chuba. I know how awful you feel. My own cat, Kiki, died last week at 18. For encouragement, go to youtube and look up "pets in heaven" "john fenn". He is a pastor who saw his pets in heaven. I watched it after Kiki died, and it really gave me hope and comfort.
I just started my cat on Taste of the Wild dry food last night. This morning she was showing the classic signs of FHS as described below. She'd never, ever had this before. Threw out the rest of the bag.
