I do this with my kitties, too... They are very perceptive and I know they do understand when you "explain" to them that you're sorry.... And I also think it's important to do it immediately. Cats can be like children, in a way, very insecure and in need of reassurance sometimes. When Kuri gets...
Thank you, CoolCat! I haven't been on TCS for a good long while. I wanted to see if I had missed any belated b-day greetings because I have been having a very difficult time (home problems) lately.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful b-day wishes! God bless.

I'm a Persian, too (but I think it's wrong!). No homecoming queen here! (maybe only slightly spoiled, though, heh, but that's because I'm an only child!) Seems like there are only four "answers"?
First of all, welcome to TCS! You're sure to find lots of help and good advice here. I, unfortunately, wouldn't know exactly how to handle this issue, but I'm sure you'll have some feedback very soon. This is a very helpful and supportive forum. Good luck with your kitty!
These pics are TOOOOOO cute!! I was just looking at this thread yesterday thinking that I'd seen Geisha do this before, but I couldn't remember exactly since I haven't seen her do it recently.
Then what do you know, but just a minute ago, I turn to look and her face is in the floor!!! Of...
This is related to another recent thread... Sure, I don't mind you going to the bathroom while you're talking to me on the phone!
What noises are you talking about, I didn't hear a thing. ( )

I'm not embarrassed at all - I meant to do that!
I haven't scrolled through each page to view the photos, but was just wondering if Bugaboo1 (Barbara) has posted her pic here yet? I'll also PM her to see! Bugaboo, where are you? Hope you're doing well (I haven't been on TCS for a while, just started posting again recently.)

That's so cute! That makes sense that when babies sleep like this, they're very secure and are very trusting! And the funny thing is, we used to treat Mochi like a baby. I used to cradle Mochi in my arms and walk around like he was our newborn!
When my husband got deployed to Afghanistan, I had to come back home to live with my family in CA (was working in NC but wasn't making a lot, didn't have any family, didn't know how long he'd be deployed, and couldn't drive my DH's stick-shift - needless to say, not the greatest situation) - but...
Clyde and Sunnicat, I hope your kitties will be home safe and sound very soon. I'm saying a prayer for them to find their way home to each of you. God bless you! Think positively and keep your hope up and keep looking - I'm sure they will soon will be home before you know it. I just read about...
