If I must feed hard food/kibble...Which one?

While Orijen's recipes have changed the Regional Red US version is still very high quality with many good meat sources.  The biggest issue with Orijen is not the quality but the recipe change (Cat and Kitten in particular).  Regional Red Formula did not undergo the drastic overhaul which the Cat...

If I must feed hard food/kibble...Which one?

I too would throw a recommendation out for Fromm, in particular 4-Star Game Bird.  I would also take a look at Orijen Regional Red or Go Petcurean.

    New orijin food= not impressed

Tiki Cat Puka Puka Luau Succulent Chicken in Chicken Consomme Grain-Free Canned Cat Food is 100% chicken.   Nothing wrong with Acana and matter a fact that would also be an very good option for the OP.  Acana's change in recipe was no where near as drastic as Orijens complete overall.  I...

    New orijin food= not impressed

I also was feeding Orijen to my guys and finished up the last Canadian bag within the last month.  I concluded in my research that Go Petcurean and Fromm Four Star where probably two of the best if not the best available.  I am in the process of switching over and ultimately will go with a 3/4...

TIKI CAT BORN CARNIVORE CHICKEN LUAU

I did not realize Tiki made a dry version of food and since there is not much information readily available I was hoping someone could offer some first hand experiences or additional studies from experts.

Last bag of Orijen (Canada) looking for new dry

I am on my last bag of Orijen (Canada) and refuse to pay for the ridiculous shipping price to continue using Orijen (Canada).  I was hoping that the Kentucky plant would receive enough negative feedback that they would switch to the Canadian recipe again ridiculous.  I currently feed Tiki Puka...

    Going insane with worry!

I too would go with a high quality grain free food (Core, Natures Variety or Orijen) and since you state your little guy is a good drinker I would not sweat over the kibble too much because he has to eat.  Have you tried any freeze dried food.  Most boutique type shops carry Primal, why not give...

    Finicky Eater

Some cats just will not eat raw or canned foods no matter what you do.  Does she lap the juice/sauce from the canned food by any chance.  If so all may not be lost.  You mentioned Orijen, dry does she in fact have an appetite for the Orijen?  Does she eat dry food in general?

My younger cat will not eat any wet food

I have two very finicky felines.  I have tried numerous different canned foods and have found decent success with the following: Weruva - Paw lickin' Chicken and Nature Variety Rabbit.

Wants opinions on a good dry and wet cat food

Are you up for a raw food diet?  If not than go for a good grain free canned food.  These can be pricey so budget could play a part in your decision making but grain free is a must.  There are numerous to choose from but I would take a hard look at the following:   Tiki Cat - None fish variety...

Grain Free Cat Food (that's not crazy expensive.)

Here is a list of foods that are carrageenan free.  The gums are used as a binder and I believe there is currently only one company (Lotus) manufacturing food without them.  Hounds and Gatos is expected to follow suit in early 2015.  I will be interested to see if Hounds and Gatos price changes...
